What about his dreadful wr corp? Having to throw to jv players all year doesn’t help any qb,even the Brady’s & Manning’s would’ve been hard pressed to win 10 games with that supporting cast.

He didnt say he is defined only by the first few good games, he said “maybe the kid has some potential” What I take from that is that he has shown he is capable of playing well. Yes he had a streak there of terrible play. he started and ended the season well. with no other options(if you think webb is an option you are a joke) he has earned the right to hold onto the job for now. IF he cant show marked improvement this season then by all means its time to move on

It doesn’t matter what Bleacher Report says and it doesn’t matter what ESPN says, or what anybody else says it’s what takes place on the field.

To take 3 or 4 “good” games and say that a player is top 10 and then not mention the 3 or 4 games where he “stunk the place up” is not an objective analysis. Instead it shows inconsistency.

Hopefully we can soon stop blaming the lack of receivers and the lack of protection and find out how good (or bad) Ponder will be.

It’s obvious that we need another o-line (besides Kalil) to protect Ponder..to see how he does when he is somewhat protected. If he still does not pass the test, then look for a qb to groom

LMAO. You have to go on that note. Before the season I counted at-least 10 of those hacks that thought we were the 26+ and lower best team. Some even had us as the worst!
