Gilberator, I have also wondered what a Harvin trade could do for the Vikes insofar as more pick is concerned but Percy is a very special type of player and I think that what he brings to the table has much more value then a couple of extra draft picks. If we could pick up a real #1 WR I think that would take some of the ware and tare off of Harvin and make the Offense much more potent.

Muskyfever- I see your point. Why come to a run-first offense as a receiver. But having a good RB will open up the passing game. The Texans are a great example. They have Arian, Andre, and Matt. But as Jason Child said, Brees seemed to be a bust.......now look at him. The guy can't stop throwing TDs. If a deep threat wideout wants to have a good season, I think MN should be a worthy candidate. We are an up and coming team that needs some spark in the passing game. Im sure Ponder can get better with a star receiver on the field. Imo, trade harvin for picks and pay a good deep threat. Harvin is wonderful but hes not the receiver we need. Once again, just my opinion. :)

The only way Ponder will be able to have enough time to throw is if we double team JJ Watt. THAT in itself will be the answer. Otherwise, he will be on his arse most of the day. Containing Schaub/Foster is the (2) major aspects in this game as far as Defense. Schaub likes to rifle the ball alot, sooo we need to keep him out of his rythm from the get go. I'd like to see some fortuitous blitz packages against this team. Schaub doesn't seem to like to get much out of the pocket, BUT he has a quick release as well. Seems to like to throw to the left side alot. Well, either way it goes; I wish the Vikes success on Sunday. We have (2) goals to achieve: BEAT the Texans and give AP the support/help that he needs to get closer to his goal. GO VIKINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really value your football insights, however, I have to somewhat disagree about your "it's all coaching" statement. The old statement about taking a horse to water but you can't make him drink it is true. In my opinion, coaching is about 75-80% of it but the other part of it is being coachable and can that person comprehend and put into practice what is being taught. You can have the best coach in the world but a poor learner can only comprehend so much of it and be able to actually put it into practice!
