Minneapolis police report:

Minneapolis police confirmed an egging at Mr. Frazier's house late last night and reported 2 eggs hit Mr. Fraizier's house. Three flew over the house and hit his neighbors back door. Two eggs each hit each of his other neighbor's houses. The remaining three eggs were broken at the ground where thesuspect threw them.

Police suspect Vikings Quarterback Christian Ponder.

When asked about the egging Ponder broke down on the ground and started crying.

Just found this on facebook lol

Vikings1, my point exactly - Ponder cannot execute due to the simplistic offense he must run due to his deficiencies.... a 10 yard field... how hard is it to cover space when you know it is only 10 yards deep, and there are 11 players spread across that 10 yard swatch of real estate, and Ponder is trying to squeeze things in...
He doesn't pose enough passing threat that play-action would be at all effective as there is not deep enough drop on D-backs and LBers to get the play-action to effect a result.

Defenses float on us and we throw AND run into the same coverages. Imagine that, we are a defensive coordinator's dream to scheme against!

@Vlad and OTK

Both of you guys have valid points, however, Coaching can only go so far but in my opinion the key word or outcome of coarching especially good coaching is execution. You can have the best coaching in the game but poor execution will over-shadow it. My question is what is Ponder doing to get better, if I was him I would do whatever is necessary to be the best QB in the league. Study Brady and Peyton Manning and see what they are doing. To be the best you have to study and imitate and do what they are doing and we all know that you cannot keep doing the same old thing and expect a different outcome!

let ap have the ball and get out of his way. the man is a beast. dont deny him the opportunity to surpass 2000 yds. but knowing musgrave and frazier they will put the ball in ponders hands and miss out on history. ponder should be released and both frazier and musgrave should be fired. the wilfs then should try and woo john gruden out of retirement to be the head coach.

Not so fast OTK,

The problem with play-action, and WHY it doesn't work for us is Ponder's inability to stretch the field. Defenses play 8-9 in box, safeties play one high and NOT deep, EVERYBODY is virtually within 5-7 yards of line of scrimmage. safety single high at maybe 10!

Play action is designed to pull secondary and LB up on hard charge (coming from deeper standard drops), but because the defenses are only 6 yards off the ball, there is no real effect of play-action because they are not forced to bust down, and IF they are fooled, their recovery is not a huge or drastic shift of forward to backward recovery.

It is simple, they virtually don;t MOVE because they are already within that range of run reaction... AND they are within "Ponder's strength" of short throws and bubble screens.

One defense covers both aspects of our offense. There is NO over reaction and over corrections necessary that are hallmarks of good deeks in play-action.

Again, blame whomever you want, but the defense covers Ponder as they do because either we don't scheme well, OR Ponder cant play well enough. And Mushgravy gameplans for his personnel.... Ponder being the instrument of our offense other than AP.... and we know AP works well.

Went to the packers vikings game in green bay and witnessed Peterson run his 82 yard touchdown live. This is one of the best things I have ever watched.
