With 6yds/pass att, Ponder has the lowest average of any QB with more than 300 attempts this season (there are 27 of them). With a passer rating of 79.4, that puts him at 22nd in that same group. Hard to see how you could stick with him with those kinds of numbers. He needs some time on the bench to gather himself and try to figure things out. Get with it Les!

I have been in Support of Ponder all along. If he continues to throw interceptions

IN AND NEAR THE RED ZONE then Jo Webb needs to come in that area of the

field and play and get us in the End Zone. Mr MUSGRAVE, if the Bears stack the

line of Scrimmage we need to Implement the 5 YARD SHUTTLE PASS TO ADRIAN.

REMEMBER THAT PLAY ??????

Those highlights of Webb are great as a reminder of how well he has played when given a chance. The media has lead us to believe he's an inaccurate passer, he isn't. I check his stats 61% his rookie year and 54% last year (same as Ponder)
Doesn't any one remember his first start at Philly, Monday night game. Webb was the 3rd string qb at the time, not even getting reps at practice. How does he perform GREAT and Vikes win. He has started 3 games and won 2 of them. He led a big 2nd half rally against the Lions in relief last year. He had us on the 1/2 yard line last play of the game and got faced masked, refs did not call it, costing Webb the credit he deserved for a great comeback. His last start against the Redskins last December he passed for 2 TD's and ran for one and had a passer rating of 158. Did I mention he makes a lot of plays running too.
Hey goofball who said they're highlights for a reason, this is a guy with little actual playing time those are a lot of highlights. They weren't picked out of a 10 year resume.
Didn't give Joe Webb any chance to develop but enable Ponder...give it up!!!!!

We are going to lose both AP and Harvin to free agency. These guys are not going to wait around until Frazier pulls his head out of his ass, and the team gets a real QB. Ponder wasnt that good at Fla.St., what made anybody think he would make it in the pros. Webb wont ever be a starter in the NFL. I would start him now, just so i wouldnt have to watch Ponder any more. We need Gruden. This coaching staff, with their decisions have flushed what could have been a decent season right down the toilet.
