Ponder You need to get Benched for the rest of the year you have no throwing Arm nor can you lead a offense for the Vikings. the only team you could ever hope to beat is the little sisters of the poor. Mr. Joe Webb got the shaft because of you and Frazier won’t even put him in even though you have shown that you are a lousy QB. Ponder Do the Vikings A Favor and Bench yourself. seeing as how the Coaches don’t have the Guts to Bench you. Please do the team a great favor and Pull yourself before next weeks Game I listen to your Sorry pressers and you keep saying the same thing over and over again I’ve got to do a better job at my position. you couldn’t throw a pass longer than 5 yards if your life depended on it. Get a Clue go sit on the bench and let Joe Webb play in your Place for the Teams Sake. You are just plain bad. and so is Leslie Frazier he is definitely no a good head Coach. First off- Walsh is the man. Congrats to him as he has been an amazin asset for this team.

Secondly- I am sure Frazier is a good coach, but I honestly do not think that the fans got what they though they were getting when it comes to bringing passion to the game. I think many are disappointed with his lack of flare. Fans wanted more of a flame and they got a spark.

One final note- since this is a blog about our Kicker. maybe we should let Walsh punt too. If Kluwe kicks another 23 yarder I am gonna lose it. He has choked on some vital kicks this year. My Mom can kick more than 23 yards… I realize that he can have a miss-kick or 2 but c’mon dude- the ones you choked on have been gimme’s… Get your head in the game…

I heard someone on KFAN call Blair Walsh “legatron” I thought that was pretty funny. I like that and his other nickname “AIR BLAIR” both are good. He is a great kicker. I actualyl bought his jersey, but instead of his name I have CLUTCH put on the back of it. It is my away jersey since we see A LOT Of him on away games

Lets be honest for a second here, the majority of any fan base are idiots. I’m not saying that any of you guys or gals are. For all I know the people on this site are the exception to the rule. But the general rule is that Fans are not smart. They constantly chant stupid senless things because it makes them feel special, when in reality they have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. They just express opinions without thinking things through… I do it sometimes, as we all do. But some people just are not as bright as they would like to think.

I had to express this on here, because I saw a vikings fan yesterday, preaching the Joe Webb thing. He and I had a small friendly debate in the cub foods parking lot, but his comments and arguments were laughable at best. He was a true idiot fan. I just think the grass is always greener on the other side… when really that is not the case

I hope that they do put Webb in the game one of these days. So he can throw the rock at recievers feet, to show all of you “lets put Webb in” supporters that he is not the one we want on our team. If it will help you realize that he is not built to play QB in the NFL I am all for it. if Webb really was, what you all say he is, we would have never drafted Ponder in the first place. They would have stuck with Webb, but thats not what happened is it??

I personally don’t think Ponder is the anwser for us here in MIN. but I know Webb isin’t either. So I think we are going to have to deal with at least one more season of Ponder and if he still does not improve, then they will make a switch, but for now I think we are stuck with him.

Have you ever noticed that when something is going bad (Ponder being QB) that people always beg for what they don’t understand. Two years ago there was a game that the 49ers were playing and losing badly, the crowed was chanting “WE WANT CARR”!!!! Do you really think they wanted Carr, or do you think they were chanting that because things weren’t going as planned??? We all know that Carr is NOT a better QB than Alex Smith. Same thing here applies with Webb. Fans just want what they can’t have or don’t understand. All of the Webb supporters will call for him to play until he does.. then you will realize the idiocracy of your QB opinions. Webb is not the better QB. and Ponder is not very good. what does that tell you. Webb is a heck of an athlete, but he does not fit in the QB position. I think we trade him this coming year…

The success of Walsh only refelcts the failures of the Vikings offense, redzone stalls and we have to settle for 3, great for Walsh, big reason why we lost a few games, cus the Vikes can’t get TD’s in the redzone. Good for Walsh, bad for the rest of the offense.

The reason we, and 30 other teams, didn’t go after Brees is because of his shoulder injury. In his last season with the Chargers, he was playing on a one year contract and got hurt. No one was sure if he could come back from that injury. He signed an undervalued contract with the Saints (the only team that was interested in him) and didn’t have a great first season. It wasn’t until 2009 when he exploded. I however do agree with you. I was VERY interested in aquiring him myself. I guess it’s all would have, should have, could have……………………………
