He deserves it and I think he will be mvp if we made it to the playoffs.

During our bye I think we need to get jarius wright and joe webb into the lineup. Design some plays for joe webb and put jarius n a startin position next to percy and simpson. With simpson harvin and wright n at reciever we could be very dangerious because they all have spectacular speed
And why not get rudolph more involved

@trillbucksavage couldn’t agree with you more. Because with the brutal schedule that we have we must put all of our best out on the field. I hate to see joe just sitting on the bench. playing mop up. I am not saying bench ponder but. Let’s do a few of things out of seattle’s play book with what they are doing with tate throwing the ball. Joe and ponder out there along with wright simpson, harvin and oh yeah the baddest back in the land AP! we can go all the way. Granted the defense of Chicago #1 mission is to STop AP!!. Make us pass.

Do a search for bluebird, I did, voted for the man! Starting the locomotive……the 2,000 yard A.P train! I want to see him get 2,000 yards, God knows he’s capable!!! now if the fire under A.P.’s ass can catch to the rest of the team, our purple people eaters, munchers, Berzerk Gang, purple punchers will be doing nothing but kicking the competition ass’s……night and day!

It dosen’t matter what teams do.

EVERY TEAM KNOWS: We are a run first offense
EVERY TEAM KNOWS: we have a lacking pass ing offense
EVERY TEAM KNOWS: what they need to do to stop our Offense
EVERY TEAM KNOWS: how good AP can be on any given day

EVERY TEAM THINKS THEY KNOW: how to stop AP by stacking the box..

But honestly, you can stack 9 in the box and Purple jeesus gets 150+ yards a game anyway. You can NOT stop him this year. He is in complete beast mode. He will win the rushing title after surgery on his knee just under a yr ago. Adrian is hands down the best RB in the league today…without question. Other teams fear him and respect him. He will be a hall of famer without question. We should feel honored and blessed to have him on our side lines.

If I wasn’t such a Defensive mind, he would be my favorite overall player. He is, however my favorite offenseive player.

All and all AP still says he is not at a 100%… HAHAHA!!!! I wonder what 100% is… 300+yrds in a game????

AP, you are the man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep it up we need you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

100% looks like 296 yards in a game.

I was very upset when Robert Smith retired prematurely.
I think i might shed a tear for the time since age 8 when A.P. hangs them up.
Hopefully he has another 5 good years left.
Comeback player of the year and MVP!

I really hope AP gets post season glory one of these years. He really deserves it and deserves to win a Super Bowl. He is a great player (one of the best) and a great person off the field.

Like Ray Lewis says “greatness is one thing, Impact is another” I believe that AP has impacted our team and the great state of MN.

If Adrian averages 163 yards a games in our last 6 games he will beat the record for Rushing Yards in a Single Season held by Eric Dic.kerson – 2105 yards.

  12. By Dr. Remulak on Nov 13, 2012 | Reply

It would be tough, the rest of the teams we play are really good against the run.
HOU is allowing just 85 rushing yards a game, CHI averages 92, GB averages 98 and STL averages 114.

On the other hand Seattle gives up 100 yards a game on average and AP ran for 182 yards against them. So for him to average 163 yards a game in the the last 6 is not out of the realm of possibility.

If there is one man in the world who could do it, it’s Adrian Peterson.

  13. By H.M.G. on Nov 13, 2012 | Reply

2222 that is what Peterson will finish the season at.

  14. By VikingFanatic209 on Nov 13, 2012 | Reply

Totally agree but even AP will need help from our passing offense just as he got in the Detroit game. Every Sunday and all game we know what we got from Adrian All Day Peterson but He cant do it alone. Ponder and co will have to capitalize on all the 8 man fronts and find the open Receivers to take a little pressure off of our work horse. But I believe if we can find a way to do that week in and week out like in the beginning of the season and as of late, then AP will have a shot of breaking 2000………..Skol Vikes!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m rooting for A.P. to get the rushing record! Mr. Awesomness!! the fire under A.P.’s ass has to spread to the entire organization!

Keep runnin’ ‘em over, All Day!

  18. By Dr. Remulak on Nov 13, 2012 | Reply

How cool would this be? We go into the last game of the season and AP has around 1800-1900 yards.

He rushes for 300+ yards, breaks the Single Season Rushing Record, breaks his own Record of Total Rushing Yards in a Game (296) and we keep the Packers out of the playoffs with a win.

He is truly a super human being who has super human powers,He gets stronger as the game goes and it seams to me like it’s Fraizer thats holding him back,or he might have more yards and we might have won 1-2 more games if he would have let the reins loose a little bit. Its almost like he is scared of getting him hurt and lossing him for the whole year.( come on alreany) what else does he have 2 do.

We might also pull off a miracle if we can get Jarius Wright to be a deep threat! get Harvin back doing his thing! !!!!!!!! I can feel it, like in the blues brothers movie when the beam of light came thru the church, on a mission from God! the Vikes are on a mission to win the Superbowl, nothing can stand in there way!

OK, so I have heard very little about the new stadium issues. Can someone further explain to me what this means. I understand seat licenses for season ticket holders… They did the same thing in Denver. But I don’t understand why it would effect the “average” fan?

  49. By Richard1A on Nov 14, 2012 | Reply

what northwoods2 said. Now is the time for some of the other players to step up,,,,,,or put Audie Cole in there for a change. Our opponets spend the whole week planning to stop A.P. and they can’t, one of the them players should have it a little easier, there chance to shine,,,,not take it easy!!!! Coach Richard B. here!!

  50. By BlueBird7 on Nov 14, 2012 | Reply

Maybe “they” will raise the prices on the ” average” fans seats?

Why would the ownwes want to pay out of their own pocket, when they could try for the sucker Viking fans? They want the stadium, but YOU pay for it!

  51. By OTKalil2012 on Nov 14, 2012 | Reply

Dayton has already agreed to this ???…

But I am sure the London home games is something that upset Mpls…And having 2 home games going to London…Will hurt the local economy on money they would normally receive for a home game…

But the “personal seat licensing” issue was expected to be part of the oringinal stadium plan…There are no surprises there…

We all know AP is probably not ALL human but I lets take a moment here and give some praise to our greatly improved O-line. Let’s send Kalil and John Sullivan to the pro-bowl guys!

I can’t say enough about how Kalil has been playing considering he is a rookie playing one of the most important positions on the team protecting our house and our Ferrari. It really brings a smile to my face seeing Adrian blast thru the line of scrimmage untouched to see him juke a LB and run over a DB. Now if we can get a NASTY Guard in the next draft, AP will be running for a long time.

Also lets not forget Eric Sugarman. As much as we like to see Adrian Peterson in the light as a super hero, he has sidekicks.

    THANK YOU!
