Matt Kalil is having an all pro season. Blair Walsh is statistically the best kicker in the league. Harrison Smith is pro bowl worthy, Josh Robinson has been put in the fire and is coming out like polished bronze. Jarius Wright may have just had his breakout party allowing the team to reconsider the WR corps for the rest of the season. Rhett Ellison has made some key blocks and has impressed. Audie Cole is at least a special teams ace and could develop into a starting caliber LB in a couple years. IEven if Greg Childs fails to live up to his potential, this could be the best draft class in Vikings history.

The only reason doug martin has been this good is because of how short he is. Bucs have some big OLinemen so the defenders lose track of him more than a guy like Lynch or AD. Skip bayless is just an idiot. He is wrong about pretty mucheverything. Including Aaron Rodgers. Yes im saying it Rodgers is the best qb in the nfl.

Its nice to know our division has the best qb, rb, receiver, and defense in the entire league. Skip is an nfc east guy so ofcourse he is going to hate on the nfc north. THE BLACK AND BLUE DIVISION.

Bring back Mike Tice from Chicago…If nothing other then to keep him from giving the Vikings secrets to the Bears. He would promise not to sell anymore Game Tickets. Trade Musgraves for Tice. Time for Bears to start losing.

Tice must be doing something right for the Bears..They are on top of NFC North.

@JE……Have you seen a pro playbook??? Yes they are complicated but these guys only have football to worry about, not school or another job. This is what they do: practice, study the playbook, and play. that is there job. I am sure CP7 knows the play book.
You were talking about how Favre opened the play book…..Musgrave wasn’t even here then!!!

If you had payed attention to my posts last week, you would see that Musgrave has been fired MANY times after only one season as an OC because of his poor choice in play calling.

I think its a little bit of everything. First of all Harvin needs to understand to keep other players interested in the game they need to get the ball also. Vikings pay the man it starts with harvin in the passing game. Musgrave heres a clue put all your play makers on the field at the same time be unpredictible. Clue two Musgrave Wright on Go wrote Harvin on a deep in ten yards under neith Wright and Simpson under neith him. Rudolph under neith Simpson goingthe other way. Its called a passing game.

@ Kathy P I agree. Its like soccer, if you have one player on the team that has an abundance of talent, but they hog the ball, you still don’t get a solid game because its not a unit. Our defense is playing as a unit and they have been pretty darn successful this year. The offense needs to come together and gel as a unit. I read a lot of the comments above about having Harvin, wright, and Simpson on the field together and I totally agree. However, one pivotal option is Rudolph as well. With these four on the field, we already have opposing defenses in a stupor. Add in Peterson and we have an offense that should be able to stand with the best of the NFL…with time of course. I know a lot of people on here ragged on me for backing Ponder but I hope he showed you guys a glimpse of what he could become as long as hes not over-coached and actually looks at his options after the snap. Peterson was right about Harvins’ injury being a “blessing in disguise”. Ponder will hopefully learn that he must spread the ball around regardless if Harvin is there or not. Plus from this win; Harvin was not in the game and we STILL got it done through the air. Something that wasn’t getting done when Harvin was playing. Hopefully we move forward on this and actually put up 30 points a game. That’s the only way we will win against GB and Chi; outscore Rodgers and the Bears defense. I say defense because that seems to be the only real danger. Cutlers got a rocket for an arm but that O-line is in trouble….has been in trouble for a while. Hopefully we expose that and our secondary holds up. GBs D isn’t that scary, we just have to score every drive because stopping Rodgers at this point in the season is not gonna happen a lot. Stopping Brees is probably the only scenario in the NFC that’s more difficult than stopping that GB offense. Detroit will do damage hopefully!

One could only think that hopefully, Percy would have a “team” concept instead of “me” concept. They all need to work as one unit and the ball should be thrown to whomever can get open plain/simple. For the betterment of the team, they need to work together to achieve a common goal. We dont need any drama from one particular player. Be a team-player and just maybe the rewards will outweigh the benefits. Work together guys,play solid football, AND less penalities on a side-note. We are starting to see the foundation form for next yr. and yrs.to come. Let’s build on this and go with whatever it brings to this organization. We started the year as a whole unit, functioning as one, and need to continue with this strategy. SKOL VIKINGS!!!!!!

The fact that they moved Greg Johnson down to the sideline is interesting. Ponder responded to this! They both go through practice on the field and I think this help Ponder with seeing the whole field. Keep Johnson down on the field on game day please!
