I understand that sitting Ponder is a BIG choice. It will hut him in the short term, plus it indicates that we recognize he’s not the future. And I understand our reluctance. But the train has come off the tracks. It is time for command decisions to be made, and tough choices to be called. They did their best in bringing him in, but it didn’t work as they hoped. They must be unselfish, swallow their pride, and recommit to putting the best person under snap for our team. I like Ponder, but I struggle to find enough production/talent that make me BELIEVE he will be the guy. It’s time to try again.

My only regret at this point is that we’ve won too many games, and have JUST enough talent to squeak through a couple more. We quite obviously need to get back to the drating table and continue a vigorous rebuilding. PURE SHAME at what this franchise is showing Viking’s fans and NFL fans as a whole!

When our offense is only #28 and #12, how far does the coaching staff thing we’ll go? They will get hurt. I’ve passed the height of my anger and graduated to disgust.

Secondary is wide open for even mediocre passing teams.

D-Line QB sacks/pressure is well below par.

D-Line run stop is embarrasing.

O-Line is toast.

Deep passing is nonexistant from passing and receiving ends.

Short passing is overused, injury prone, and easily predicted by the opponent.

What are Frazier’s thoughts moving forward?

Minnesota’s plan of “just give ‘em more time” and “keep pushing failed ideas” has haunted us for over a decade.

Webb is not the long term answer. No better of an answer that T Jack was, but I agree it’s time to put him in in order to salvage a liitle of this train wreck.
