Reminder: Sunday’s Vikings-Broncos Game Moved to Noon Start on FOX

Posted by Mike Wobschall on November 28, 2011 – 7:39 am

Remember fans, the December 4 game at Mall of America Field between the Denver Broncos and the Vikings has been moved to a Noon CT kickoff (previously was scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. CT) and will now air on FOX (KMSP Channel 9 in the Twin Cities) instead of CBS.

The NFL utilizes “flexible scheduling” on Sundays in Weeks 10-15, 17. Flexible scheduling ensures quality matchups in all NFL Sunday time slots in those weeks and give teams a chance to play their way onto primetime and into the late-afternoon 3 p.m. CT time slot on CBS and FOX.

For each of the flexible scheduling weeks with the exception of Week 17, the NFL will announce the start times of games on Sundays no later than 12 days prior to that weekend. To ensure a Sunday night game and doubleheader games with playoff implications in Week 17, the flexible scheduling decision for that Sunday may be made on six days notice.

VIkings suck so much at life that they are not allowed to play at 3 pm?

Why do the vikings suck so much at life?

And the antics in their locker room make penn state pedophile nittany lion’s shower antics look like an endless series little wienie roasts

Does this mean FOX nationwide????? (as in maine)

P.S. Frazier doesn’t suck, but the rest of the coaching staff does.

I agree, Frazier doesn’t suck but im not too big a fan of Musgrave to tell you the truth. They need to clean house on coaching staff. Sorry, but nothings getting done. We need a good draft this year as well.

“nothings getting done.” You are soooo right!

What we need to do more than anything else (and I am SO SURE about this) is

How do we go about it? I say hire a GENERAL MANAGER to clean up the mess left by the current FRONT OFFICE administration since 2003.

Too many Chiefs, not enough Indians WILL NOT GET IT DONE.

I don’t believe in co-coaches. Someone has to be in charge of any organization. Right now, that is in question with the MN VIKINGS.

The blogger Aaron Rodgers is a tool, this person has zero scruples to go after the Penn issues in a joking manner. You are the lowest form of life Aaron, if the packers knew who you were and what you are blogging they wouldn’t want you as a fan, grow a set.

Aaron is just some silly packer fan, that has nothing better to do.

The Vikings will be better, mark my words.

Someone lay Tebow out and make this game fun and able to watch! Wow you are a boring team in all aspects of the game!!

@ Viking Joe- Well we can’t get much worse. It would be unfair to blame Frazier for the shortcomings of this team. He inherited an aging OL,a nonexistent secondary and a depleted WR corps from Childress and after Sunday, the team is struggling with many injury problems. It’s unimaginably hard, near-impossible, to turn around a team like the one Childress left him with. With Frazier you also know that he’s someone that all the players respect, something that was previously an issue with Chilly. I also agree with the aforementioned statement about obtaining a new GM, I think that would be a very productive move for the organization.

Perhaps Rick Spielman can just be moved to head of scouting or something of the sort. He seems better at drafts than anything, but I think we need someone who can draw in talented free-agents and make more productive trades. Otherwise we’ll win up signing another Berrian (shudders).

    @ Matt
Your absolutely right. Chilly ruined this team through a series of bad choices spanning over a few seasons. Frazier being the interim, then promoted to head coach in almost a seasons time isnt gonna automatically make this a different team. Allen, Peterson, Harvin, Greenway, and EJ all deserve a SB win. Or at least consecutive playoff appearances. Heck, anything but what we are seeing now. You cant just draft the best RB and go halfhearted on the rest of the team. Given the obvious, im pretty sure the vikings will draft what we need this year. Its so apparent that we need OL D secondary, and WR. Ill give these guys a chance to draft. If that doesn’t go well, i will be one angry vikings fan

@Matt, I agree that coach Frazier did inherit Chili’s leftovers, it’s time for him to make his mark, I am frustrated at the performance of this team. We do have some good pieces in place, now it’s time to build around them. A new GM definitely would be a step in the right direction. The OL and the secondary should be the main concerns going into next year.

Play the rookies from here out.Keep the good ones ,weed out the rest, and rebuild at the draft next year.Consider new coaches as well.
