Kevin Williams, Teammates Bowl For Charity

Posted by Mike Wobschall on November 24, 2011 – 6:00 am

Vikings DT Kevin Williams, along with several teammates, Vikings alumni and Viktor the Viking, were bowling for charity this past Monday night. The Vikings contingent was at PINZ Entertainment Center in Oakdale, and together with a large gathering of Vikings fans raised money to support the Vikings Children’s Fund (VCF).

The event, which was sold-out, was held for the 17th consecutive year and continues to be a highlight event surrounding the VCF.

Participants who bought tickets bowled two games with a member of the Vikings family, received a Vikings-themed gift, met several current players and the team’s mascot, had the opportunity to participate in a silent auction, and watched the Monday Night Football game on PINZ Entertainment Center’s bevy of big-screen TVs.

The Vikings Children’s Fund is a means for Vikings players, coaches, staff and their families to focus their community support. Their mission is to combine their time and resources, through events and appearances, with that of the corporate community and fans in an effort to support the many needs of children in the Upper Midwest.

NO HEADS HAVE TO ROLL. We just need that person who
can come in and organize the mess we call
    THE VIKINGS FRONT OFFICE.

There are so many VPs sharing the top position that it has to be a contributing factor when it comes to the stupid drafts, free agency, and trades the Vikings have made in recent years.

NO ONE PERSON COULD BE THAT DUMB and
ignore the gaping holes in the Offensive Line and the Defensive Backs.

(You would be surprised how good the defense would look with an above average offensive line.)

Frazier is trying to organize the TEAM, but he has no power. Give the coach some power!!!

Fredrick and Titus- you guys are Miserable with a capital M and all the others should be capped as well. On thanksgiving you still find something negative to say about something that is meant to do some good. WHO CARES IF YOU THINK BOWLING IS A ” PEDESTRIAN ACTIVITY “!!! PEOPLE LIKE TO DO IT AND IT WAS FOR A GOOD CAUSE. Its clear you like to do nothing but comment on on football teams’s blog posts ALL THE TIME! GET A LIFE! AND @FREDRICK your rants and raves about the GM and so fourth do nothing for us here. Tell it to The VIKINGS ORGANIZATION!
