Vikings DT Kevin Williams, along with several teammates, Vikings alumni and Viktor the Viking, were bowling for charity this past Monday night. The Vikings contingent was at PINZ Entertainment Center in Oakdale, and together with a large gathering of Vikings fans raised money to support the Vikings Children’s Fund (VCF).
The event, which was sold-out, was held for the 17th consecutive year and continues to be a highlight event surrounding the VCF.
Participants who bought tickets bowled two games with a member of the Vikings family, received a Vikings-themed gift, met several current players and the team’s mascot, had the opportunity to participate in a silent auction, and watched the Monday Night Football game on PINZ Entertainment Center’s bevy of big-screen TVs.
The Vikings Children’s Fund is a means for Vikings players, coaches, staff and their families to focus their community support. Their mission is to combine their time and resources, through events and appearances, with that of the corporate community and fans in an effort to support the many needs of children in the Upper Midwest.
