Posted by Mike Wobschall on November 16, 2011 – 3:39 pm

Jared Allen and Adrian Peterson have been among the best players at their positions this season, with Allen leading the NFL in sacks and Peterson tied for the League lead in rushing TDs. Vikings fans have recognized this and their votes are adding up because both Allen and Peterson lead the NFL in Pro Bowl voting at their respective positions.

Peterson is actually 4th in overall Pro Bowl voting with 469,117 votes, behind QBs Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady (1st and 2nd) and also WR Calvin Johnson.

Pro Bowl voting will continue online and on web-enabled mobile phones by going to NFL.com/probowl through Monday, December 19.

The teams will be announced at 7:00 pm (ET) Tuesday, December 27 on a special NFL Total Access 2012 Pro Bowl Selection Show on NFL Network. The 2012 Pro Bowl will be played on Sunday, January 29, 2012 and televised live on NBC at 7:00 pm (ET) from Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Who cares? I care. I want Peterson to continue to work his a ss off and I want Jared Allen to knock Michael Strahan’s record off the #1 pedestal.

Some say fire the coaches. Some say get rid of these players.
Some argue against some of those things.

    There is a solution.

Adrian Peterson is by far the best in the game right now no matter what their record says, and you can definately count that he is up there in the all timers. He will be in the Hall Of Fame. He will go to the pro bowl each year if he works hard. You can never forget about Percy Harvin either. Imagine the vikings if they would have kept their roster from last year. they would have had adrian Peterson, Randy Moss, Percy Harvin, Sidney Rice, Brett Favre, Antoine Winfeild, Cedric Grisson, and Chad Greenway.
