As is the case each Wednesday during the NFL season, fans can head to Mall of America tonight from 6:30 to 7 to check out “Vikings Country,” a weekly radio show hosted by Mike Mussman and co-hosted by either Jared Allen or Chad Greenway.  Tonight, Greenway is the co-host.

Allen and Greenway will alternate weeks as co-hosts of the show with Mussman, and the Vikings Street Team will be at each broadcast giving away great prizes.

Well, since the Chris Cook blog is blocking ALL comments, I’ll have to tarnish this one to speak about the disappointing news.

The reports indicate that Cook got mad at his girlfriend after he learned she had started up communication with an old boyfriend. From what I read, the extent of the attack mandates at least an entire year in prison.

That’s really disappointing because I was just starting to believe he would become a solid starter for our team. Now we’ll have to hope that we hit gold with one of the later picks at CB, and still need to find at least one more DB in the first couple rounds of next year’s draft. I have no idea what the future will hold for Cook, but it’s tough to believe that it will include the Vikings after a problem like this.

And of course, Mike Wobschall blasted me for trying to blame the FRONT OFFICE for the &*^% Draft decisions over the last 9 years.

Hey, Mike Wobschall we know these are your bosses.

Too bad….it just shows how important it is to try to find out who or what
is responsible for only picking 2 offensive linemen during the FIVE year period from 2003 to 2007.

TWO…Unfortunately those 2 people are no longer with the Vikings or in the NFL.

Not too many people want to tackle trying to find out who is responsible for making all the ridiculous draft decisions.

I wish I knew how they did it. Do they draw straws or does one guy
get the final decision on choosing WHO to pick.

The choices haven’t been all that bad, except we failed to take care of the weak areas on our team …… …….. ……….

If you don’t know what those WEAK AREAS are, please ask me.
