With Percy Harvin banged-up, and Berrian not up to expectations at this point, is there a plan to rotate Booker, Camarillo and/or Joe Webb into the receiving corps to see what they can do with more playing time?

Is Coach Singletary tied to a chain? What’s he allowed to do? I was hoping some of his intensity would rubb off onto the players, but we are still playing too nice. No swarming, no consistent intensity, no killer instinct, no swagger. Our opponents are for sure not sore the next day after playing us. The Vikings, sadly, are a soft team. There’s teams from the Lingerie Football League that “get after it” 10X more than us.

How many consective years are players allowed to fail and not show improvemnet before they are replaced?

Tyrell Johnson is in his 4th year and has never been productive. In fact he has missed more plays than hes made. So why does our organization accept his failure year after year? Why doesnt somebody else get a chance? It cant be any worse and it might just get better ….

I’ve heard great things about this guy Emmanuel Arceneaux, will we see him play at all this season?

coach why can’t the vikes emulate the patriots, championship caliber coaching staff, with key players giving it the’re executing all, even with an everchanging corp of support players stepping up?

    @ CA_Viking_fan,
I agree with what you say at least for the defense part of the team. I also live in Cali. It is nice to hear that I am not the only Vikings fan in Cali.

@ ca vik and brad, yeah they are soft, been watching them since the early ’70s, you want to see some bad a$$es watch some film, those boys could bring it…

Why are you not playing Kyle Rudolph more? He seems like a really good talent that could make an impact on the offense. He is big, strong and can catch!

  16. By Ole 1 eye on Oct 25, 2011 | Reply

@ Sweden – I’m with you there. I figured with Ponder coming in, Rudy would be his number 1 target.

With Barrian now out of the picture i want to know if Camarillo will now be used more? the guy is a good route runner and has great hands. I’ve said it before but he reminds me of wes welker not flashy just dose everything well. And i agree with sweden rudolph looks to have way to much talent to not be used. Another guy that i think will get more chances now is jenkins, with losing rice to seattle the vikings need a big sure handed reciever and thats what he has provided so far and i believe he should be rewarded with the #1 recieving job

  18. By Tyler on Oct 25, 2011 | Reply

Why dont you go look and talk to T.O? With dropping Berrian he can only help the team.

wat is up with my guy harvin and winfild when will them guy be a 100% against i like to see them play before the season is over

  20. By Peji on Oct 25, 2011 | Reply

Joe Webb is a great player, how do you see him being used and how often?

  21. By Mike on Oct 25, 2011 | Reply

Ok it looks like changes are slim to non existant to reach the playoffs! So why don’t you give Ponder a real target to throw to like T.O. Harvin is awesome short but where is the down field threat? The garbage T.O. would bring may be a blessing in disguise keeping the fans interested. Then next year add someone that can go deep and send T.O back to retirement.

seriously if you pick a tight end in round two use him

  23. By wayne hayden on Oct 25, 2011 | Reply

why dont you go after a wide receiver like owens he is ready to go and will make a positive impact on the team.

  24. By CanadianVF on Oct 25, 2011 | Reply

We do not, I repeat do not want Terrell Owens on this team.Have we learned nothing from the Mcnabb experiment. He is no longer a deep threat, he will not make a positive impact on this team. He is a headcase, three ring circus, who only thinks about himself. That is one band aid we do not need to try and stop the bleeding!!!!

  25. By smatt009 on Oct 25, 2011 | Reply

I agree, when can we see some more of Rudolph, or Camarillo who was one of Favre’s go to targets? They’ve got the hands.

Coach the packers game was amazing to watch I am excited for the teams and your future. However, we needs some DB’s t complete the defense, and a deep threat wr to complete offense. Asante samuel is up for trades, is this a good idea to look too…

with cook not in the picture, along with the release of berrian. . . . . .could we consider getting the prospects of sharper and owens? i feel they would greatly strengthen us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  31. By Pharewynd on Oct 26, 2011 | Reply

If Darren Sharper is still available I agree with cubnblu. We need to have something done about our very weak secondary.Owens would be a good target to throw to but would have to be kept on a short-chain in order to not become a detriment to the team. You have a wonderful prospect in C.Ponder and he handled himself pretty well on Sunday. Get him some people to throw to and spread out the field. How about doing some reverse plays; it usually works well. Good to see the front O-line is finally getting some separation for A.P. Is there not anyone on the practice squad to help out in the secondary????

At this point in the season and with our record as it is, i say there is no point to bring anyone else on the team, I think the remainder of the season should not about winning, but about player developement and checking out unprovens.
Coach Frazier don’t you think the time is now to see if you have a talented WR in Webb? I just can’t see why so much talent is getting so much bench time.
With playoff hopes out of the question, I do think we should just treat the rest of the season as just one big long pre-season.

Ponder to Moss…….Intercepted!!! He’s goin, goin, GONE!!! 80 yard interception TD!! Vikings lose!!! Vikings lose!!! Vikings lose!!! :-o

Why would Terrell Owens be passed on? His workout made him look good, and he is a known receiver and will be covered well in the back field opening up lanes for Adrian Peterson. The cut of Berrian opened up salary space but Burton would have to go.
