No Surprises On Week’s Final Injury Report

Posted by Mike Wobschall on October 21, 2011 – 1:34 pm

Several players on the Vikings and Packers final injury reports of the week are listed as out or doubful, but ultimately there are no surprises going into Sunday’s game.

S Jamarca Sanford (concussion), C John Sullivan (concussion) and CB Antoine Winfield (neck) are doubtful. Sanford and Sullivan have not practiced all week and Winfield has been limited each day. For the Packers, LT Chad Clifton (hamstring/knee), LB Jamari Lattimore (shoulder), DE Mike Neal (knee) and LB Frank Zombo (knee) have all been declared out, while CB Sam Shields (concussion) is listed as doubtful and did not practice all week.

Packers DT Ryan Pickett (concussion) is the only player for either team listed as questionable; he did not practice on Friday.

Everyone else on the injury report for both teams is listed as probable. You can read the entire Vikings injury report by clicking here.

To be real, we probably are going to lose this game. The Vikings aren’t a playoff caliber team anymore, therefor we have to focus on rebuilding starting with our Oline…

@ Frederick Jones who would you pick next year???

    Maybe one of these guys??

TheRealDon is right. Start Mistral Raymond over Johnson and Aromashadu over Berrian.

It doesn’t really matter if Ponder loses or not. Just gain some experience for next season Ponder. That’s all I want.

I like Aromashodu he has alot of upside to him..last game they started Berrian and when he started off bad they bring Aromashodu in late..No start the man..

Maybe Mistral isn’t getting play time because he’s not good because anyone who can’t get play time over Johnson is obviously not that good Mistral was ok in college but he never had a true position he wad to small for safety and to slow for corner who knows he might end up good but I think we only drafted him because of his story

We need better OLs, DBs, and WRs to contend for a title next year.

Ted Glover of the Daily Norsemen said the Vikings should have a better secondary than the JETS, if we had DRAFTED the way we should.

Scout is a tough job according to THE DRAFT, written by Wil Mara. They spend a lot of time on the road. They MUST be shrewd judges of almost good enough talent vs good enough talent.

Maybe some of our SCOUTS are burned out. The consultants have been working too long and don’t do much of the right thing.

Then again, the guy pulling the trigger makes the decisions on whether we pick a QB, RB, TE, or the areas where we N E E D H E L P.

HOW ANY FOOL COULD NOT DRAFT OLs and DBs last year is beyond me ! ! !
(And our free agent decisions were bad too, although not as glaring as the ones with DBs and OLs)

RIDICULOUS. Any two year old could have done better!!!

Chris Cook will miss the game because of being arrested. So Corners should be Griffin, Sherels, Allen, and Burton. While Raymond will be back up safety/corner. In college Raymond played corner because USF needed him to but they knew his best position was and is safety.

Chris Cook is going to end up with a short career because of his inability to embrace the opportunity he has been given. This is what ruins professional sports, overpaid players with no regard for the law or decency. Frazier needs to set an example with Cook. The season is a loss already, bench this loser for the rest of the year. I doubt he will be out until 2:00 a.m. or pointing guns at people with out any loot in his pocket.

I am glad ponder is in there and he looked good, we do need O linemen, but we need a secondary more, if our D can stop some people via turnovers that will help, but when the line gets pressure the secondary is making huge mistakes like the wide open jennings play, I wont call out names but he must have been kneeling on a prayer rug because he wasnt playing football.

time to think of next year, give gerhardt some time to show his ability and trade him, Cut berrian and make webb a WR, cut Klieny and bring king from the practice squad along with any DB we have there.
