Antoine Winfield (neck) will miss his second game in a row tonight as he’s among the seven inactive players for the Vikings.  Winfield injured his neck during the week four game against the Chiefs, and was doubtful on the injury report both last week and this week.  Second-year CB Chris Cook will start in place of Winfield again this week.

Here is the full list of inactives for tonight:

CB Antoine Winfield, CB Brandon Burton, S Mistral Raymond, LB Xavier Adibi, OL Brandon Fusco, OL DeMarcus Love, and DE D’Aundre Reed.

Here are Chicago’s inactives: Bears inatives: OL Gabe Carimi, DT Matt Toeaina, WR Earl Bennett, DE Corey Wootton, QB Nathan Enderle, S Chris Harris, and DE Nick Reed.

The Vikings are just an embarrassment this year, and this game is already embarrassing and its only the first quarter

Seriously, when are they going to get Mcnabb out of there and let Ponder get some playing time. Don’t think he could do any worse…………

  17. By 68shelby on Oct 16, 2011 | Reply

and it just keeps lookin more and more embarrassing , this secondary sucks no pass rush and cant stop therun

  18. By jdude on Oct 16, 2011 | Reply

BENCH MCNABB!!!! BEFORE IT’S TO LATE.

  19. By jerry on Oct 16, 2011 | Reply

Please replace Mcnabb. I have folled the vikings since the days of FRAN TARKINGTON. This has to be the worse choice the management has made. Micheal Vick would have been a better choice!

If were going to lose put ponder in to get experiance.

and it just keeps lookin more and more embarrassing , this secondary sucks no pass rush and cant stop the run. I hear ya vikingsfan the kids going to be a year behind his class if frazier keeps using his friendship with McNabb as a reason to play him instead of ponder.

The coaching staff dont have a clue. I have seen the bears keep multiply blockers in on numerous plays, why arent they adjusting. How are the defenders getting beat by only two receivers? Why do we have safeties? They might as well not even be out there because they are useless!

    ITS TIME FOR PONDER.

Keep starting McNabb and I won’t even bother watching anymore because the results are known from the start of the game — McNot win

Just embarrassing I’m ashamed to wear any of the vikes gear, I would just as soon not advertise that I’m a vikes fan. Hey we just got sacked two out of three downs way to vikes ol doing a great job Hey McNabb hint run you dumb ass

    Isn’t there some curling on

  31. By Brad on Oct 16, 2011 | Reply

I only got to say three things- Why is it that we lose when BB is on the field (yes he did do better this game), why not stay with Ponder as QB (it seems like he can at least move the chains (for the most part), and HOW ABOUT CHANGING (OR DO SOMETHING) ABOUT THIS HORRIBLE OLINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  32. By Arrow86 on Oct 16, 2011 | Reply

Berrian does not get separation. Dropping a sure first down, and then getting the giggles is pretty pathetic. IF the Vikes cut him, no one would put him on their roster. He skipped two meetings. He has such dominant stats, I’m suprised he even needs to come to practice. Donovan is a great guy, but he can’t lead the receiver. It’s like watching Steve Dills. Ponder’s time has come.

The O-line is garbage. It’s the curse of Matt Birk! We should have paid the man! Let’s open the roster for trades and draft picks. We can draft the entire LSU team, and Les Miles would probably come North to coach them.

    @68Shelby:

Curling involves more strategy and coaching than what I’ve seen Frazier produce.

  34. By radzinwisconsin on Oct 16, 2011 | Reply

Brian Robison where are you going? Cutler steps up you are not even close! Kevin Williams how can you stuff the run if your backs toward the o line? You were on your tummy alot huh? Mike Tice’s guys man handled the front 4! Now there is the coach that should of never gotten canned!!

Mike W. Can we get a title like “Embarrassing loss to division rival evokes changes in offensive and defensive schemes”?

  36. By Rocksalt on Oct 17, 2011 | Reply

The whloe team should be placed on inactive list.including coaches

  37. By Rogerthevikefan on Oct 17, 2011 | Reply

Ponder would have looked better with a better than average OLine. Start Ponder NOW. Play Fusco and Love atleast then we could see if they are any good. Watching terrible OLine play doesn’t teach them anything. Brandon Burton needs to get playing time same with Mistral Raymond.
