Other than Greenway, A.P., Percy and a couple of others, this entire team should be waiting on tables.

    Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
Everything that’s wonderful is what I feel when we’re together,
    Brighter than a lucky penny,
When you’re near the rain cloud disappears, dear,
And I feel so fine just to know that you are mine.

My life is sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
That’s how this refrain goes, so come on, join in everybody!

    Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
Everything that’s wonderful is sure to come your way
When you’re in love to stay.

“I really can’t explain it,” he said, going on again to say that the Vikings need to execute the plays that are called.

Peterson took the high road Tuesday, but his father, Nelson, told the St. Paul Pioneer Press that he can see his son is upset.

Peterson Not Getting The Rock in 2nd Half
In the first half of games this season, Adrian Peterson has been running “all day” averaging over 6 yards per rush and scoring three touchdowns. The second half has been a different story — both in carries and in turn, production.

    Peterson in 2011
    1st Half 2nd Half
    Rushes 36 22>
    Rush yards 230 66
    Yards per rush 6.4 3.0
    Rush TD 3 0
    > 5 rushes in loss vs Lions

    powered by

“I see the agony on his face,” Nelson Peterson told the newspaper. “He was frustrated that they weren’t going to him. He wanted to help them win the game. Five carries in the second half? That’s 2½ carries per quarter. He thought that, with a 20-0 lead, he was ready to lead them to a victory. He’s being a good sport about it, but he’s upset.”

Nelson Peterson went on to tell the newspaper that his son, who signed a $100 million contract extension before the season, has become the “league’s highest-paid decoy.”

Adrian Peterson has just one 100-yard rushing game this season — Week 2′s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the only game this season in which he has had more than 20 carries (25). He had just 16 carries in a Week 1 defeat against the San Diego Chargers and 17 in Sunday’s loss to the Detroit Lions.

If you watched the game ap got less carries because lions were stacking 8, ap cannot always get first downs he’s not super human yeah he does break huge gains here and there but if you are the defense and certain ap is going to run you are going to hawk him the whole way. One dimensional team that is why they are in this mess, its funny how they can’t go downfield more like the packers all this team does is run and expect other teams not to change the gameplan. Can’t remember when this team played smart football the whole season, besides 98. Seems like all they are doing this season is run and throw for 7 -8 yards, put musgrave up in the booth get him off the sidelines so he can see the field better.

  44. By James on Sep 27, 2011 | Reply

Musgrave and pagac need to be upstairs in the booth. The only coach that gets my praise so far is preifer, our special teams is probably the only unit that is moving up.

McNabb is probably embarrassed right now– being told he needs help with mechanics– that does not look good, so the leadership issue with the coach and keeping with your starter is out the window. I expect Ponder to play on Sunday if McNabb struggles.

  79. By Mike B on Sep 27, 2011 | Reply

I think that Fraizer’s job is on the lline as he is backing McNabb and wanted him in Minneasota. He is sticking with this horse till Ziggy slaps him in the face and says enough. He’s too focused that it’s that we aren’t making plays and not seeing that 3 games is a trend. If perchance they win in KC and with the Card they are going feel that they righted the ship. Then go to Chicago and get it handed to them. I have a feeling it may just go this way. We will have McNabb until that Chicago game then we will be 2-4. If we loose to KC then things are a lot worse than they have been. I think we will be 2-4 at the end of the Chicago game. What say you?

I had personally hoped there would be a coaching change this week, but that isn’t going to happen. Fraizer or Musgrave need to go and refocuse is needed by the players.

There is nothing wrong with McNabb coaching Ponder from the sideliines and the KC game would be a good place to start. And please keep trying out OL as many as you can find we need to heal the line and how.

I read in a Boston paper that Frazier said he believes Ponder is ready to play, if needed. Don’t be surprised to see Ponder the moment McNabb has two three and outs in a row– he can sit there and regain his breath. The man is horribly out of shape– Shannahan was right. He huffs and puffs for minutes after a few yard scramble.

Ouch, no love for Berrian. Well, I admit, after defending him all preseason, he has not shown anything. This is the big league. Put up or move on. Bring back Moss.

  104. By Mike B on Sep 27, 2011 | Reply

I think when you are constantly open which I am not sure if that is Berrian’s issue or not. A blue chip WR will get on his QB and say hey I am open give me the ball. Or get the QBs attention when he’s open. I don’t see that with Berrian. Can he catch and make big plays? Now don’t get shocked He can make big plays he did it in 2008 with TJack and Ferrote. He did it this preseason with McNabb. If you are the guy you need to get the ball in your hands. Who is gettnig the ball AP, Harving, Shank, Jenkins, some to Roudolph. Berrian is the deep threat WR and not getting the ball. That means he’s taking up space. It was the point of the article.

  105. By Mike B on Sep 27, 2011 | Reply

Mike W. has defended Berrian to me in an email that he is key part to the team. I say ok Mike then throw him the ball and they aren’t doing it enough to justify his spot on the team. The arguement is well Harvin is our number 1 receiver well they why isn’t he in on most plays. Is he a deep threat receiver? (no). Berrian is the guy, but you have to make plays to him or he’s not the guy. That’s pretty simple personel stuff.

  106. By Mike B on Sep 27, 2011 | Reply

I would more than happy to support Berrian if he becomes effective and becomes the target he should be. I glad Wobby supports Berrian. I as a fan don’t see why keep a player you aren’t using and no other team is really concerned with getting the ball.

The notion that Adrian Peterson can’t or shouldn’t run the ball against eight- or nine-man defensive fronts has been proven faulty at times during the running back’s five seasons with the Vikings.

One of them came early in the first quarter of Sunday’s 26-23 overtime loss to the Detroit Lions.

The Lions had nine defenders in the box. Yet Peterson still ran for 43 yards, sidestepping tackle Ndamukong Suh in the backfield and bursting through a gap vacated by blitzing middle linebacker Stephen Tulloch.

A day later, Peterson said “a lot” of his longer runs have come against similar stacked fronts.

LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT. ARE 2 MOST EXSPLOSIVE pLAYERS AP AND HARVIN and we have to figure out how to get them more envolved. mmmmmmmmm I would think a high school coach would know enough to do that let along a NFL coach. Are you kidding me and lets see a quarterback 2 teams gave up on that trows at players feet or way off target. Make you MMMMMMMMM. Im am starting to loose a little faith in this coaching staff.

13 games to the Vikings move, to where is the question of the day. My prediction for the year is 0-16 if Mc-loser is at the helm all year. Get Ponder in now and we may have a season yet. Though Hesselbeck would have been a better choice as Veteran QB’S go. Oh well.

Sorry for any spelling errors. Have a great day.
