Mr. Hippe’s Weather Report

Posted by Mike Wobschall on September 11, 2011 – 1:58 pm

It’s Week 1 of the regular season but Mr. Hippe – (aka Director of Operations-Team Travel) is in mid-season form of course. He’s checked in with a weather report for today’s opener against the San Diego Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium.

Mr. Hippe says it’s 72 degrees and sunny with a light west-to-southwest breeze at 5-10 miles per hour.

A perfect day for football.

MN Vik-Queens go to LA, Yes keep them who are unable to play, MN Vik- Queens record 0-16. I am tired of hearing, we played good but did not get the win; Good game but we are losers! Go to LA and get your new stadium, Like the Twinkies you are L-o-s-e-r-s! I see that your MC l-o-s-e-r and b-u-t-t-e-r finger B did their very worst! What a team of re-ject Coaches, or should I say c-o-c-k-r-o-a-c-h-e-s? Yes give them 10 yards to get the ball! I say fire the entire team and let the fans come in and play! They could not do any worse.

Unbelievable. I never understood the 2 Joe Webb plays after a Jared Allen INT and a decent Peterson run?? They should have kept stuffing the ball down their throats in the second half. Run, Run Pass. I think SD picked up on that approach after the first quarter. I am not impressed with the offense at all. I understood the defensive mentality of stopping the deep ball and giving up the short stuff to Rivers. On offense I suppose you believe that Donovon will give you 14-21 points a game in the air. Did he even pass for 50 yards? The offensive playbook definitely needs some work. This division is going to be tough there is no time for learning. We really need to get it together. I’m thinking the 6-10 prediction for this team this season isn’t all that far fetched.

This happens when there is a lack of quality coaching, HEAD coaching.

No matter what the weather, if our players don’t step up, we going to be in the top five worst teams in 2011, 6-10, or 5-11. We got to do better!!!!!

let’s not forget that this was a road game against a very, very tough SD team. Many good things came out of the game. 6+ yds per rush is fantastic. 2 ints vs 1 lost is a positive. And overall, for the DF to hold SD to 24 pts is a win. We were in this game all the way to the finish…
Losses are always tough, but as a 9 pt underdog, there were still many positives in this game.

let us also remember that we were without Kevin Williams… really could have used him in this game especially.
