Mr. Hippe’s Weather Report

Posted by Mike Wobschall on August 20, 2011 – 7:37 pm

We’re in the Great Northwest for tonight’s preseason contest between the Vikings and Seattle Seahawks. And throughout our trip the weather has indeed been great.

Mr. Hippe checks in tonight with more great weather for the game. He’s calling it mostly sunny with a temperature of 81 degrees and winds out of the south gusting up to 14 miles per hour.

Sounds like a great night for football.

Marcus Sherels, fumbles a punt then gets what they call a PICK SIX!!!

The news is that he may actually be heavier than 175. This is one guy you might not want to pick a fight with anytime soon ! ! !

He may be the CB we have been looking for ! ! !

And notice he didn’t dance in the end zone ! ! !

What did I tell you about Sherels. He had the only int in last year’s pre-season, and spent much of the season on the practice squad.

    He’s got momentum.

Sherels is the undrafted free agent from minnesota correct? 0 exp

Yea, I think Asher Allen should be worried now. Sherels is having a good enough game tonight, that it should be forcing coaches to consider keeping him and letting Asher start filing for unemployment.

Parody i did notice today allen had a low salary listed last year or two. maybe we get someone to step up and just take the depth position from asher. exp counts when injuries occur!
noticed H Farwell had a stout salary.. hmmmm

Allen is still on his rookie contract, so his salary is likely to remain low. Farwell has been an outstanding special teams player, so when he re-signed he got a decent deal.

Aromashodu looks like he has the same advantages as Camarillo does, but he is performing well in the preseason while Cam is sitting out.

never released how crucial it can be for players with an injury during these pre-season games. other players shine and sign!

Marcus Sherels spent the last two games on the active roster last year.

I’m not sure how much he played…I think just a few special team plays.
