Are You Following The Vikings On Twitter?

Our goal is to provide Vikings fans with in-depth, comprehensive and behind-the-scenes coverage of the team. One important tool for us in that quest is social media and, specifically, Twitter. Are you following the Vikings on Twitter?

If you’re not, now is the time to start. Log on to and follow us; our handle is @VikingsFootball. You can also follow my personal account, which I also update frequently; my handle is @wobby. Twitter is a great way to get Vikings information, but not only at training camp. We use Twitter during the regular season to provide game updates, roster updates and links to new videos and content on It’s a great way to get even closer to the Vikings.

Remember, you don’t have to be a tweeter yourself to follow. Just go to the website, find @VikingsFootball and/or @wobby, and you should be set.

You should compile an official list of the Vikings players on twitter. There’s been issues of fake accounts with Percy, Winfield, etc. Percy’s impersonator even got on ESPN & NFL Network for a comment about Childress. Would be helpful for the fans that use it..

Fans must now derive reassurance from promises that the bill will be considered later. The big question is, how many times can the matter be put off before Zygi Wilf starts exploring other options, including moving the team to L.A.? For all we know Zygi is already exploring this option. Hopefully, by this fall, things will have calmed down enough in Minnesota for the stadium to once again become a front-burner issue. For now, politicians have made it clear the stadium is not a priority.

Well it is almost fall, and we are still without a new stadium bill, how long do we wait? Please, all fans in Minnesota call Dayton and tell him to get the Vikings their new stadium now!

Maybe the Vikings should move to L.A… Think about it for a second. Vikings move to L.A about 100 Jobs are lost in Minnesota which means the unemployment rate goes up 1%. State loses more money because a HUGE Tourist Trap is missing in the State. The people get angry and there is a HUGE turn over in Minnesota government as I’m sure the people won’t vote for those who are in office while the Vikings left. Then in five years Minnesota gets an expansion team. Mean while the old Vikings team is no more because L.A once again won’t be able to keep a team there. In any case everyone loses and no one wins. Vikings won’t get a stadium any time soon since Minnesota is so far in debt. Only way Vikings will get a stadium is if the Vikings pay for it out of their own pocket or the people step up and pay for it out of theirs
