Today’s Inactives

Posted by Ryan Cardinal on December 5, 2010 – 10:30 am

Here are today’s inactives for the Vikings:

WR Percy Harvin, WR Greg Lewis, WR Hank Baskett, CB Chris Cook, S Jamarca Sanford, G Steve Hutchinson, DT Fred Evans, and DE Ray Edwards.

Note that QB Joe Webb is active for the first time this season.  Will be interesting to see if the Vikings are able to work him and his athleticism into their offensive gameplan at all…

How bad can Hutchinson’s thumb be? Wrap it up and play!

  2. By alex kennedy on Dec 5, 2010 | Reply

I am surprised that Baskett is inactive. With Harvin and Lewis being out I would have thought they’d want as many recievers as they can get. Let’s go Webb!!

Why in the name of God did we get Hank Baskett? Has he even played? Did Chili have a crush on Kendra?

  5. By mike on Dec 5, 2010 | Reply

Why is Baskett inactive today? I think Baskett should be out there evrey week he is a much better reciever then Lewis…

  6. By NovaScotiaVike on Dec 5, 2010 | Reply

If the Vikings want to give me 7 figures, then I’ll move there and not play.

  7. By Robins on Dec 5, 2010 | Reply

With Percy out, it will be a rough day. He can do anything. I hope Adrian is ok and doesn’t hurt himself more. But then…..look at Brett, 41 and playing with so many injuries. He just plays hard to win for his team. Has Baskett played yet for us? I don’t remember ever seeing him. Too bad Steve and Ray will be out. I hope everyone steps up and plays hard like last week. Win Vikes!

Hutch should have a talk to Favre about toughness.

  9. By Derek on Dec 5, 2010 | Reply

SO we have Rice, Berrian, Camirillo as are only WR’s today. Might be tough to pass, hopefully AP can gash the Bills last ranked run defense!

so start peterson or gehart today for fantasy? :)

Stephanie, when in doubt go with the proven commodity, A.P.

  13. By mr smiff on Dec 5, 2010 | Reply

I’m not worried. Frazier’s just playing it safe with Harvin. I believe Brett will have a big game today and Gerhart will will get 100+ yards.

  14. By NovaScotiaVike on Dec 5, 2010 | Reply

Mr Smiff, I hope you’re right, but I can’t see a big day passing by Favre with those receivers.

  15. By the4Norsemen on Dec 5, 2010 | Reply

Not worried about Edwards being out today. It gives Robison a shot who is as good if not better! Go Vikes!!

Besides they will have all next year to rest and recuperate while they are once more sitting at home watching the replacements play. Has anyone herd of the upcoming lock out? This is a joke Millionaire player’s thinking they need more money for less play and millionaire owners complaining about the cost of new stadiums that they did not pay for.

Hay old school, are you out there? I have a question. Do the police bully and kill people because they do not like what others say or do? Is not the police just the same as the military, a branch of the government? According to you veterans should not get any benefits, so why should copes? Old school you should support the Vikings and stop being so negative. BTW Support should always go to them whom have served to keep you free to use such foul language in your pervious postings.

I have seen a lot of investigations– they seem to follow the path of least resistance and do not inspire me to believe our “servants” have the best analytical or critical thinking skills– because no matter what type of analysis ….
