Why do you want a new stadium, if the one you are at is perfectly fine?

  2. By Dave on Nov 30, 2010 | Reply

The metrodome is one of the few stadiums in the league that is not lacking revenue.. A bigger better stadium will bring in more revenue… The metrodome is not making enough with the way it’s built.. Not enough VIP boxes and etc..

What do you think you can bring to the table as far as leading this team to more victories? Will you keep this team more with the running game or let the ‘hall of famer’ call the shots?

  4. By Dave on Nov 30, 2010 | Reply

I meant, that is lacking revenue ..

Thanks for your thoughtful, open, respectful, good spirited comments in your interviews Sunday. I appreciate the core values you demonstate of high expectations, belief in hard, consistent work, and mutual respect for each other and for the people of Minnesota.

You remind me a lot of Bud Grant.

why not design a single play for Joe W ebb in the game? Also, is it difficult for the offensive line to create holes for Adrian and/or protect Bret?

will you be testing the waters so to speak by adding in the other mobile qbs in some situational plays where we are in the red zone or keeping drives alive or is it hard for coaches to pull out Farve for a play or so. I know he gives you the best chance to win but why not use other resouces at your diposal

Coach, liked Brett’s run. Did you plan that or was it something of the moment? Will you allow Brett more latitude? Will you put in the back-up QB’s as a running back that can pass as well? More trick plays would make the game more interesting, don’t you think?

This week we play the Bills who have the 32nd ranked run D so are you game planing to run the ball even more than we did against the Redskins?

Since were are going against a vastly underated Bills receiving core- Has Chris Cook been progressing enough to get about 50-70% of the defensive snaps?

Great win Sunday, is Peterson’s ankle in good enough condition to run him all game against the bills, or are you going to take advantage of the bills bad run defense to essentially give Peterson some time off? Is Toby Gerhart sufficient, in your opinion, to carry the vikings to a victory?

Hi, coach any chance we get more aggressive on defense we need to blitz effectively and get to the qb more often. Our db’s should blitz more and our defense should disguise more different looks instead of planting there foot down in the same spot on every play.

Coach, the Bills are much better than their record. They’ve taken some of the tougher teams to OT and they would’ve won against the Steelers if not for a rookie’s bless-his-heart moment. Please, PLEASE don’t take them for granted!

When are you going to give Tarvaris Jackson some snaps at QB especially since Favre is so banged up and not as mobile? He has proven that he has what it takes to be an NFL QB..put him in and stick with him. You have a team with a load of young talent, allow Jackson to grow with them. Look at what the Jets, Falcons, and Ravens have done with their young QB’s (of course they initially were surrounded with NFL caliber WR’s). Coach Frazier, you are at this point right now. You have a decision to make that will affect the Vikings for the next 5-10 years.

Carl, your guy is not going to be put in unless Brett decides to retire tomorrow and that is not likely. Your boy would have been playing if coach Childress wanted him playing. If your boy is so good why then did Childress go and get Brett in the first place? I hear that your boy makes a good back up but nothing more. One man cannot affect a team more than one year at a time and that is the year he is in now. There are better QB’s that are coming via the free agency next year. Only time will tell. God bless one and all! Go Vikings; Keep the good will going under this new coach. Coach, Will you make sure that your coaches keep the good play calling from the side line? Will you bench anyone who will not play up to their known abilities? Will you put in the back up QB’s as running backs that can pass? Will you call for more trick plays?

any intenons oon trying to get brett back?

  27. By Carl on Dec 1, 2010 | Reply

Childress went and got Brett in the first place because of the “win the Super Bowl this year philosophy.” You can’t build an NFL championship dynasty like that. I believe the Jets, Ravens, and Falcons have the right formula for success. Jackson was never allowed to make a mistake early in his career like Sanchez, Flacco, and Ryan without being yanked from the game. QB rating was never mentioned when these guys turned the ball over via int’s or fumbles. Jackson is not as good as Childress thought, he is better…just give him a chance.
