Vikings Arrive At FedEx Field

Posted by Mike Wobschall on November 28, 2010 – 9:46 am

Looking to break a nasty road losing streak, the Vikings have arrived at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland for today’s game against the Washington Redskins. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET and noon CT, with television coverage provided by FOX.

The Vikings have lost 9 straight road games dating back to last season and today would be a perfect time to snap the streak, as Leslie Frazier will appear in his first game as Vikings Interim Head Coach. Frazier has been the Vikings defensive coordinator since 2007 and has led the team to 3 straight top 10 defensive rankings (2008-6th, 2009-6th, 2010-9th).

This will be the 20th matchup between the Vikings and the Redskins, a series in which Washington holds an 11-8-0 lead. The Vikings are 4-5 when playing at Washington and they’ve won 3 of the last 5 games in this series, including the last contest at Washington, a 19-16 victory to open the 2006 season (9/11).

We’ll have the Vikings inactives for you 90 minutes prior to kickoff, which will be 10:30 a.m. CT and 11:30 a.m. ET. We’ll also be chatting live with fans during the game, updating the blog throughout the day and providing updates on the Vikings official Twitter account – @VikingsFootball.

We’ll be back with more soon, so stay tuned.
