Why is Webb always inactive? What has he done as a third string to be inactive? Just curious..

Nice! Now we really have a shot at winning. Sincerely.

if the 3rd string qb plays, that means that the other qbs cannot play for the rest of the game if he gets hurt or he plays badly . (weird rule) that’s why there is little reason to activate him with Jackson as the backup and we need depth during the game at other positions

…..Cook and BB are no help to this team. Cook couldn’t COVER a cake with frosting and Berrian couldn’t CATCH a cold in a blizzard.

We have serious WR issues to fix this offseason … they only sure thing is Harvin … we have to resign the injury prone Rice hes only had 1 good/healthy year and will want big money …. Lewis and Basket shouldnt be in the league … Camarillo might be a good #4 or #5 … and Berrian does nothing and is paid like a #2

  10. By Shawn on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

@old school … as a Viking Fan I JUST WANT TO WIN … we will get a good pick no matter where we pick

  11. By dryes on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

Cook has been battling injuries all year, but I DO think his attitude is bigger than his ability. We probably won’t know his value until the next year or two.

  12. By Shawn on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

@dryes … I agree and am glad to hear something REAL , Cook has been injured and when kinda healthy started on a top 10 defense as a rookie so to say he sucks is IGNORANT

  13. By dryes on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

Agreed, Shawn: Berrian is a huge waste of money, lewis and baskett obviously are weak, the o-line needs two good linemen, and we need a solid QB. If the staff addresses these issues then we have got another superbowl contender. That is now that Chilly is gone. We need to first and foremost keep our good coaches and beware of duds like Tice, Chilly, Green (I will run out of space for this list).

“Here are the Vikings inactive players for today’s game vs. the Redskins:”

What a joke, the whole freaking team has been inactive for the entire year!

I know this not so much by the Vikings pathetic record but by reading all you sniveling cry babys comments……..LOSERS…..Whaaaaaaaa…hahaha

  15. By purplerainman on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

@dryes – I’m hoping Cook will not have a shot next year. You either have it in this league or you don’t. Childress has mentioned several times this season that he is gun shy and a little afraid to be out there. The injuries make it easier for him not to play believe it or not.

  16. By purplerainman on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

His is the corner backs version of Troy Williamson. Great in college, just can’t handle the NFL. What a pansy.

  17. By purplerainman on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

Ray Edwards should have body slammed him for talking back.

  19. By purplerainman on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

Yeah! The guy drafted Adrian Peterson, Percy Harvin (actually visited with his family) got Jared Allen here. He’s not a bad guy. Just couldn’t coach. I wish Chilly the best. SKOL Vikes.

why aren’t my posts F#%ing posting:?!!

  21. By Shawn on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

He may be a good guy but as an offensive coach he entered this season with 1 reciever and is behind TJack … and you listen to his comments about a rookie corner that has been hurt all year and starts on a top 10 defense when his offense is ranked 29th …. seems ignorant

  22. By Shawn on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

@ dryes … you cant say ba’ll or any word containing it … also you cant say a’ss or any word containing it such as pa’ss if you hit the back button what you typed will be there

  23. By purplerainman on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

@Shawn – you’re perfect right? You’ve made all the right decisions in life. You’re an idiot calling me ignorant. You could put a lot of people on this team under a microscope not just Chilly. This is the same team as last year less Sage, Griffen and Sapp. Most coaches would get a medal for bringing the same team back. They just haven’t been playing up to this point.

  24. By purplerainman on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

…Cook is a dud. Let’s face it, Chilly or not.

@purplemainman … never said im perfect im human like the rest of us what im saying is use all senses available to you not just your ears … to say a guy is a pansy because chill said hes scared is a bit ignorant … FACT COOK IS A ROOKIE INJURED AND STARTING ON A TOP 10 DEFENSE …. and I know time has passed but Ced Griffen got burned as a rookie I STILL REMEMBER …Also Sydney Rice hasnt played all year so another false statement

  28. By Shawn on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

Its also very rare to get a Deion Sanders or a Rod Woodson

  29. By purplerainman on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

WTF does starting for last year’s top 10 defense have to do with anything? That statement seems ignorant. He should be even more motivated to do well when he’s healthy. You make it sound like he was thrown out to the wolves or something. You must know nothing about VA football.

You can support Cook if you want that’s your right. He gets absolutely no support from me, or his teammates.

  30. By purplerainman on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

Rice is still on this team. What was false about my statement?

  31. By purplerainman on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

And it’s Sidney – spelling it “Sydney” – seems ignorant.

  32. By Shawn on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

lol purple we have a top 10 defense this year … COOK IS STARTING FOR A TOP 10 DEFENSE THIS YEAR … your really helping me prove my point lol

Minnesota is top ten in rushing yards allowed. That’s it. Again, you’re an idiot.

  35. By Shawn on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

Another thing you should learn is we play a cover 2 defense which means there should be a safety to help the corners over the top … OUR SAFETIES SUCK

  36. By Shawn on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

@purplemain man our defense is ranked 10th overall …. you only say things based on nothing read some stats b4 saying stupid stuff

  37. By purplerainman on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

    I’ve got them at 12: http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/defense/position/defense.

    I could be wrong though.

    10th in defense

Do you want to calm down now or keep showing everyone Im right? I dont just say things cause I heard somebody say them ….

  40. By purplerainman on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

I am well aware of the Tampa two also. It’s designed to prevent the deep ball. You blaming Cook’s performance on the safety not helping him after the catch? I’m done with you. You’re just chucking wood at this point.

  41. By purplerainman on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

lol. I’m a web developer. What do you think “s=TOTAL_YARDS_GAME_AVG” means. That’s yards allowed per game. Not TOTAL DEFENSE. Either way you’re off by 2 so I will give it to you. But Cook Sucks. Enjoy he game. SKOL VIKES.

  42. By Shawn on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

OK buddy , FACT COOK IS A ROOKIE AND HASNT BEEN 100% ALL YEAR AND STILL STARTS ON A TOP 10 DEFENSE …. 12TH IN TACK;ES AS IF THAT MATTERS …

  43. By Shawn on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

YEA TOTAL YARDS PER GAME THATS HOW THEY DECIDE THE TOP DEFENSES NOT BY TACKLES DOPEY …

They keep doing that, it might open up some deep ones for Sidney.

  64. By JAC on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

what i like is Frazier getting Shiancoe involved early, Chilly ran no plays for Shanc …

  65. By purplerainman on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

Yup. I love Peterson on the left (where he’s deadly) with screens too.

  66. By JAC on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

yea, with this offense he doesnt need to be very creative, just place players where they need to be and run plays to this team strengths

  67. By fireD childress on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

hopefully AP can get 100 plus yards rushing per game. they should run 60 percent of the plays so AP can get his yards

  68. By fireD childress on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

we should do the same thing Tennessee did last year, just run the ball all the time

  69. By fireD childress on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

i don’t agree with Toby running on 3rd and 1

  70. By purplerainman on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

What I like is that you can see the wheels turning in Frazier’s head. He looks like he’s trying to figure things out. I never got that feeling with Brad.

  71. By JAC on Nov 28, 2010 | Reply

i dont agree with toby running the ball period, make life easy, give it to AP and rest him on the next 1st down
