The packers have had a lot of injuries but the other players have stepped up. Vikings, please step up and beat them! I hope Rice will play. Brett, I hope you get protection this time because they go after your ankle! Good luck!

Berrian you are a complete waste of money! How much doid we pay to have you:
    1 always injured
2 unable to produce on the field
    The Bears must be laughing their a s s e s off…..

How long does Big-Bucks Berrian have left on his contract? Half the team plays injured but he ‘hurts his groin’ when no one is looking and can’t play??? Still holding onto hope that Rice will make a big return and show BB how it’s done.

He gave the vikings one good season in 08…it was all downhill from there. I used to defend his name because i thought we had a good receiver in him but i guess i was wrong. This whole team is just blaaahh. i dont know where this mess came from but its embarassing. I guess the players dont care tho b/c either way they get their money. smh

Maybe players should have a “productivity clause” in the contract.

Anyone know if we did make a move to build a new stadium can the Vikes get a lease extension at the dome til the stadium is done?

Did anyone read the Fan Poll?

    Fan Poll
What’s most important to beating the Packers this week?

    Establish A. Peterson Early
Get Out To A Fast Start
    Have More Explosive plays
    Pressure A. Rodgers
    Protect B. Favre

That is a list of things the Vikings have had great difficulty doing all season long. I couldn’t believe anyone wrote that in all seriousness. It made me think the writer had just discovered irony or perhaps has a devilish sense of humor.

While they were at it they should have added the following:

Scoring touchdowns in the red zone
Linebackers and defense backs catching a ball
    Change in the coach
And the Packers missing their plane

If wides got say $1000 per yard gained could you imagine…

Maybe McKinney should only get paid when he actually blocks his assignment.

Coach Bret Favre was asked if Brad Childres would be benched fotr this Sundays game? Coach rFavre replied “Its a day to day decision, I have to met with his psychologists.”

    Brad here –
Do we need to make adjustments? Adjustments might seem right to the average drunk in the bar, but it is infinitely more complex than that….there are gaps, X’s and O’s, eyeball -to -eyeball stuff that is only for us in the game………..

I agree with the “Pay for Results” contracts…..that would settle a lot of BS….

sane & serious dude??? how can you guarantte a win when nobody is even playing———- better start winning and win the rest, or it’s off to LA you go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAA. try another sport once the Vikings are gone. you can PRACTICE by getting on your knees !!!!!!!!

i was laughing my a ss off when half your offense was sitting on the bench in the Chicago, watching Farve getting killed !!!! ACTUALLY, I’M STILL laughing just thinking about it !!

Not really excited about this game wish we were division leaders but another year of the vikings staying home watching the playoffs, we can’t win against successful teams we only beat bottom feeding teams its just sad favre did cost us some games he needs to just stay retired I don’t blame him chilly was begging for him to come back. New qb and a smart coach to lead this team I prefer a veteran coach. No more washed up qb’s its time to develop give joe webb some playing time and clean out this entire staff including frazier the defense is basic teams are slicing us up like bread what a predictable defense.

monster of the midway: it’s hard to come back on a slam like yours when our players don’t even wear the correct cleats for the conditions. If you were laughing it was probably one of those high pitch whiney little laughs knowing what can happen if our guys wake up and perform. Also, knowing that you have Cutler playing catch with our safety. The Bears didn’t slam any doors shut on the Vikes. The Vikes did it to themselves.

HEY YOU, VIKINGS PLAYERS! THIS IS IT! LOADHOLT — McCINNIE — BERRIAN — D-LINE — GET IT TOGETHER!!

OK, OK, I KNOW YOU HATE CHILDRESS ( SO DO WE – THE NOT SO SILENT MAJORITY ), BUT THE BOTTOM LINE THAT YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND IS THAT, WHILE IT’S OBVIOUSLY A BUSINESS TO YOU, IT’S NOT A BUSINESS TO US, THE FANS.

YOU PLAYERS KNOW THAT THE PLAYERS COME & GO. THE COACHES COME & GO. EVEN THE OWNERS COME & GO — BUT US, THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS FANS?

WELL WE STAY – AND WE STAY FOREVER!

SO I DON’T GIVE A %^#$ REGARDING YOUR FEELINGS ABOUT YOUR CONTRACT, CHILDRESS, BEVEL, OR ANYONE! WHY? BECAUSE I’M A MINNESOTA VIKINGS FAN WHO’S BEEN REPEATEDLY TEASED BY DIVISION TITLES & THE PLAY-OFFS, BUT I HAVEN’T EVEN HAD A SNIFF OF A SUPERBOWL SINCE THE LAST TIME THE POPE LOOKED UP A GIRL’S SKIRT!!

SO I DON’T CARE WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO GET IT DONE, BUT I PERSONALLY WANT YOU TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO RUN THE TABLE THE REST OF THIS SEASON.

YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY NOW TO START WITH GREEN BAY.

So is Rice going to play at all this season. Have we also decided on firing Childress yet. I think it would be for the best. i know everyone thinks thats for the best. The whole team needs to pull there head out of the butts and play like the team from last year. GOOOOOOOOOOOOO VIKINGS.

Lol..I’ve moved on to my basketball team, SA Spurs. who are 9-1 by the way. lol Im over this three ring circus soap opera they call the vikings. nobody respects this team rite now including me and most of the fan base. the organization has proved to us that they dont care about the current position of the team so why should we? This r just SORRY in every way possible! continue to lose, i dont even care anymore..smh

arahn – the owners of mall of America alreay tried to extend the lease past 2011 and Wilf flat out refused. this was say 7 months ago. i don’t see Wilf breaking down and signing another 1 year lease. i think his next move is to ask Roger Goodell permission to move the team, the shrinking fan base is what will break the camel’s back

  21. By fire childress on Nov 18, 2010 | Reply

think about it, everything that led up to this…Chilly tanking the draft, trading off good players, 3 of them total, Matt Birk leaving 2 years ago because he hated Chilly, our new Center is half the player Birk was- bad playcalling, going for it on 4th and 2 in field goal range in the 1st quarter, not challenging bad calls, going for it on 4th and 1 several times, with the same play, and always failing- it’s almost like Chilly is trying to tank the team on purpose

According to reports the new government officals want to get the stadium done as soon as the most important things are taken care of. Monster you are not even worth the time of coming up with a insult so I will just say bears blow.

Like I said last week, Sidney has been operating on his own behalf since the injury!

    Cut him along with the Mckinnie’s , Berrian’s , the complete Secondary…………

    and Brad after game 16!

What a joke of a season! Cowboys are going to end up with more wins!

    SAD! SAD! SAD!

Hey, I’m going to the game at the bar this weekend and I’m going to put a paper sack over my head at kick-off!

    CLASSIC!

  25. By Old School on Nov 18, 2010 | Reply

Sidney says that the operation on his hip was complex and alot more to it than what people may think!

Well, then stop making it a secret and tell the media what you had done and end the speculation about contract stuff and your injury!

You will not…….because you are full of complete S$%^ !!

  26. By Rick James on Nov 18, 2010 | Reply

Yeah Sidney or should I say Javon Walker 2.0. You are a Favre made wr and if once he is gone you will join Walker, Antonio Freeman, Robert Brooks, Derrick Mayes and the rest of the guys that had success with Favre and nothing without him…

Every ownership of the Vikes has fought the metropolitan sports commission and our legislators about a new stadium or at least changing the fact that concessions, which is a good chunk of revenue, dont go to the team. As a result, the team remains near the bottom in the league as per revenues……the owners goal is, as any big business, to MAKE REVENUE…….The wilfs have spent $, but their investment is not paying off……….econmoics 101 says follow the money……

If Wilf doesn’t fire Childress if (or should I say when) we lose to the Packers, then it’s pretty obvious that Wilf and Childress don’t want to stay in MN. They’ll take the Vikings down south, as much I despise the idea of the VIKINGS becoming a SOUTHERN football team.
