Thank A Veteran On Veterans Day

Posted by Mike Wobschall on November 11, 2010 – 7:15 am

It’s Thursday and the Vikings preparations for this weekend’s game against the Chicago Bears continues. And vikings.com’s coverage of the Vikings and their NFC North matchup continues as well. All 3 coordinators and RB Adrian Peterson will have press conferences later this morning and you can watch those live right here on vikings.com.

But before we get going today with numerous blog entries about the Bears aggressive and stingy defense, Sidney Rice’s potential return and Peterson’s history of success against the Bears, please take a moment to call or personally thank the military veterans in your life on Veterans Day.

It’s because of the bravery and courage of our Veterans that we as American citizens are able to enjoy things such as freedom, security and even football.

So thanks, veterans, we appreciate the job you’ve done to serve and protect all of us.

They said on 1270 AM that the Bears lost to the Seahawks and Redskins. Neither of those two teams are strong this year. It’s very possible the Vikings will win over the Bears this week.

@Dawn…he is getting worked up because he is getting ignored by everybody except a few. Anybody that will quote the bible on a football blog has slipped off the deep end. The way I look at it…chilly is making us look inept on the field and in front of the media. Fred is taking care of the same everywhere else…LOL!!!!

People really invent stuff out of the Vikings Pressers. How can you really KNOW what they are talking about, when you can’t even hear the questions being asked? If Bill Belichick, Brian Billick, Jon Gruden, or any other coach were here, you would find something negative about their pressers as well. NO ONE IS PERFECT we all HAVE OUR FLAWS.

It’s important that the Vikings win the rest of their games. I believe that the Wilf’s will stick with Brad Childress until the end of the season…no matter what.
