Vikings List 9 On Wednesday Injury Report

Posted by Mike Wobschall on November 10, 2010 – 3:31 pm

Brett Favre and Percy Harvin were instrumental in the Vikings comeback victory over Arizona last weekend, but neither of them participated in practice on Wednesday. Favre (ankle/foot/calf) was at practice but didn’t participate while Harvin (ankle/illness) was not at practice.

CB Asher Allen (concussion) and S Jamarca Sanford (hamstring) also did not participate in practice. T Phil Loadholt (knee) and DT Pat Williams (elbow) were limited while DE Everson Griffen (shoulder), CB Lito Sheppard (hand) and CB Frank Walker (hamstring) were full participants.

The Bears injury report is much simpler. Only C Olin Kreutz (hamstring) did not participate, while 3 CBs were listed as limited participants – Zackary Bowman (foot), Tim Jennings (knee) and D.J. Moore (head).

From the way the Vikings have been making injuries appear to be worse than they are, I wouldn’t be surprised to see rice in on a few plays this week. But I expect that Berrian will remain a more favored target, at least until Rice’s 2nd or 3rd game.

Fat Pat needs to get his fat @SS in gear and rack up some sacks against the worst o-line in the league, the $hitcago bears. We need to get pressure on Cutler, thats when he folds the most :)

oh and Berrian still isnt that good. He is not a #1 receiver, nor 2, at best 3. We just gotta run more slants. Favre and Berrian are good at those.

ESPN reported that Rice may play against the Bears for 10 plays depending on the field conditions. Moss took the high road today when asked about Minnesota saying, “It just didn’t work out.” Considering a Chicago news source says 6 unnamed Vikings want Childress fired. That the players are now playing for each other. I feel that is actually when a team is at its strongest. Because they have some control over what goes on between the lines. Let’s hope they stay focused on Sunday. Spreading the ball around offensively can keep the Bears back on their heals.

yeah, too bad we didn’t get rid of Favre. We would be 7-1 without all of his turnovers.
