Cast Your Pro Bowl Votes

Posted by Mike Wobschall on November 5, 2010 – 8:12 am

We went to the polls to elect political leaders this past week. But your voting opportunities don’t stop there.

Fan voting for this year’s Pro Bowl has begun and you can cast your votes by clicking here.

Last year Vikings fans came out in droves and as a result the Purple had 10 players selected to the all-star game. While the team results haven’t been ideal to this point, the Vikings have individuals playing at a high level and their worthy of your vote. A few examples include the NFL’s leading rusher – Adrian Peterson – and the NFL’s leading tackler for LBs – Chad Greenway. I would argue Percy Harvin is certainly worthy as well.

Make sure to click that link above and vote for whoever you think deserves to play in this year’s Pro Bowl.

Other than Peterson, so we have anyone performing at a probowl level? Anyone?

  2. By Woodboat on Nov 5, 2010 | Reply

    Do, DO we have anyone.

lets vote Chilly in on a special write in vote. that way we can say he’s worth a 1st round pick, and trade him away

  4. By fire childress on Nov 5, 2010 | Reply

to be honest people we could have 22 pro-bowl players on both sides of the ball and Chilly would find a way to blow games, by his usual things, bad playcalling, no challenges, 12 men in the huddle, cuttting players for power trips, lost locker room, etc

Am I the only one to see that Favre’s continual play as QB is gonna hurt the team? Favre is a good player, but he will be a GREAT player is he knows when to quit, and it is NOW!

I would say AP deserves to go to the pro-bowl. I would also say hutch deserves to go too. He’s about the only one out of that o-line that can block. Herrera hasn’t done a bad job either but probably not good enough to make the pro bowl. Our problem is our tackles. Other than that, just harvin and greenway would b the others worth mentioning.

i agree Bob…sumtimes our recievers dont have time to work because brett just sits in the pocket and gives em about 2 to 3 seconds. Tjack can extend plays with his feet. give em a chance!

  11. By PurpleParody on Nov 5, 2010 | Reply

No one on the o-line deserves to go this year. I was surprised that two players from the line made it last year. AP is the only sure bet on the team, everyone else is going to need to step up thier production if they are going to get my vote.

  12. By PurpleParody on Nov 5, 2010 | Reply

As for Greenway, he’s my favorite player on this year’s defense, but I have a feeling that his numbers wouldn’t be so great if the DLine would try to earn their pay.

management did a very poor job in adding impact players for the sb run after the season we had last year…the players let go weakened the team from last year…this is where bad decisions caused us from having a dominating team,,,,now things have gone bad as most areas of the team have had problems ..we have issues with the ol, no pressure on the qb, point production some games special teams…looks like mentally this team is not ready , some players look like they have gotten old very fast and some have under performed badly..

  14. By fire childress on Nov 5, 2010 | Reply

if we are lucky, we could go 8-8. but that does nothing. i believe we could of made the playoffs with moss, but the “coach” cut him

AP is a no brainer. I think Longwell would be a probowler if Chilly would let him kick field goals when we have the chance.

Adrian has been the best player for our team. He hasn’t fumbled. Percy has been great too. He lost the fumble last week and came down with only one foot in the end zone the week before so he is making some mistakes but he is still great. What happend to Jared? He can’t knock anyone down. And poor Brett has been clobbered. He hasn’t even complained that they aren’t protecting him. He is a warrior, so strong but how much can he take? Win guys!

chech this link out folks, Chilly and Harvin were going back and forth pretty good over Harvin’s injury. apparently Chilly is really trying to push Harvin back into the line up, because he’s so despirately needed now since he cut Moss. and get this: they were yelling “FIRE CHILLY”

Adrian is a automatic selection for the Pro-Bowl. Leads the league in rushing with 7 games.(most have played 8). Brad will no doubt try to Fv<K it up some how. Like in the New England game when AP was getting nice chunks of yardage, well on his way to a 100 yds rushing, so brilliant Brad puts in Toby. AP will be pushing 1000 yds after the Vikes pound the Cards.

No, Bob, there are a lot of you that want to put the failures of this season squarely on Favre’s shoulders. Its sad that you can’t let your hatred of GB go and see this failure of a season for what it is. Do you honestly think that TJ is gonna outplay Favre? Really? He’s in good shape and has a good arm… and sucks. He scored a TD in that last game because a freakin LB went brain dead and left his man wide open for a stroll into the endzone. The 2 point conversion was an OK throw, and a spectacular catch by Harvin. He can’t get it done for 60 min. That being said, I hope you get what you want, Bob. That way, when he fails again, Childress can get the axe.

what a shame. one sub-par coach takes our whole team down for the count. all this talent wasted for a ego-manic lier

    DUMB, DUMB DUMB

Brady, Manning….their offensive line gives them the time – both pocket passers and considered to be the best in the game. It’s the O;line, and who else is getting open other than Harvin when he is playing in the slot. DUMB!

So, our QB should scamble around like Tarkington until someone finally gets open.

  36. By Pat the Viking on Nov 6, 2010 | Reply

Anybody that knows football and WATCHES the GAMES – Will know that our OL isnt pass protecting and rush blocking – it SHOWED UP last year against Carolina – It the OL Coach and OFFENSIVE Coord. NOT getting these guys train and strengthing.

I hope Harvin can forget that BS Moss try to put into his head – AND JUST play Football givin his BEST every play and everything will fall in place for him !

  37. By sah on Nov 6, 2010 | Reply

The Vikings defense gave up 28 points to the Patriots, and a guy named, Tate. No sacks for games. Let the pats hold the ball the last 5 mins of the game. No longer can you say the offense is the only problem

  38. By fire childress on Nov 6, 2010 | Reply

yeah, we have alot of problems, and they all go back to coaching
