– Both the Vikings and the Patriots punters rank in the top 3 in the NFL for net average in 2010. Vikings P Chris Kluwe ranks 2nd with a 41.8 net average while Patriots P Zoltan Mesko ranks 3rd with a 40.3 net average.

– WR Randy Moss needs just 4 receptions (currently has 947 for his career) to move into 8th place in NFL history for the most career receptions. He currently trails Andre Reed’s 951.

– If the Vikings win, it will be Head Coach Brad Childress’ 40th team victory (including playoffs).

– The Vikings have now scored 20+ points in each of the last 4 games after scoring just 19 points over the first 2 contests combined.

The fat lady sings at 7 loses. We will still have a shot if we lose this game. But we will be getting close to meltdown time.

Do you remember Jim Mora’s meltdown… playoffs, playoffs, are you kidding me, playoffs.

i’m trying to think back but hasn’t there been a time when we had the ball before half and chilly tried running the clock out, the othert team used their timeouts, we had to punt and they ended up getting at least 3 before the half? it’s s@#t like that, that pi@#es me off about our so called head coach. please god i don’t want a harley anymore just have the wilfs fire chilly.

WTF did a great job with that song. i was only about 5 years old when that song was released, so i only remembered the main chorus- but WTF knew the entire song and did a great remake of that song. great job WTF !

yeah, Chilly is simply put – very bad at clock mamagement. actually, i can’t think of anything he is good at. i still can’t believe they kept him after messing up our championship game last year with 12 men in the huddle

Isn’t it sad that we have to see our team loose to have a shot at getting rid of the real problem…chilly! If we get a decent coach, there is still time to salvage this season. It puts me into a questionable position, win or loose…Frazier needs to take the helm!!

  12. By fire childress on Oct 31, 2010 | Reply

if we loose today, the Wilf family have to act fast, they need to pull the plug on Chilly immediately after the game !!!!!!!!!!!!

Childress has personally been responsible for 2 losses.

#1) Not kicking a first quarter field goal on 4th and a long one against the Dolphins after lossing a yard on 3 down and 1 foot

#2) Not challenging the Packer TD to TE Quarless when he obviously was bobbling the ball until he was on his back laying in the white out of bounds part of the endzone.

In both cases the Vikings would only have needed a short Field Goal instead of a Touchdown on the last drives. Both times they got to the short FG range , but were down by 4 instead of 1

i really think with a hall of fame coach like Mike S. or Bill B. we would be 6-0 right now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t give me too much credit fire childress, I barely remembered the chorus! I used wikipedia to look up the lyrics and found a version of the song on YouTube to get a full feel for what the parody should look like.

Great! Wonderful! We have the 2nd best defense in the league, but we’re 2-4 and soon to be 2-5, because our QB enjoys throwing pick 6′s going the other way instead throwing TD’s to his own team.

What an absolute loser Favre is this season. We’re better off just having him hand the ball off to AP the entire game than to have him drop back, throw a pick 6 going the other way, fumble, and get sacked because he can’t move.

Chilly’s doing an amazing job with the entire team (except Favre) and making them all play at a high level, despite the QB doing everything in his power to lose the game for everyone. If I were on the Vikings team, I would want to give Favre a “right cross to the chin” and knock some sense into him. Either pull your head out of your A$% and play better or bench your own A$%, heal up, and let T-Jack play in the interim.

    Go Chilly! Go Vikes!

Chilly is doing an amazing job?????
    HARDLY……..
We have one of the most talented teams in the league……..we had superbowl aspirations and look where we are now…….a disappointi ng 2-4 recprd, tons of miscues, poor playcalling, horrible clock managemnt, and no enthusiasm.
Has Favre made some sh!tty decisions? You bet, his pick 6′s and other turnovers often come at crucial moments which have cost us deaqrly…….
But let’s not forget that Childress is ultimately responsible for the team…….just ask Wade Phillips, Mike Singletary, and John Fox……..

don’t forget Norv Turner. all 5 coaches will be gone at the end of year, including Chilly. him and Tice and Les Steckle were all bottom of the barrel, totality worthless

  20. By TWVIKE on Oct 31, 2010 | Reply

BustinWind- You are full of $h!t! You are the loser not Favre. I think you should stick your head back in your A$$ to make any sense. Forget the right cross, you need to be B!TCH SLAPPED!

It will be nice when all the Lord Favre Lovers are gone!

  22. By Garrett on Oct 31, 2010 | Reply

    @ Just Win

Are you dumb to think that every loss is Favre’s fault? Or are you just ignorant. He wouldn’t be so inclined to throw interceptions or get sacked if he had time to sit in the pocket. If the O-Line would have played better, he wouldn’t have made those mistakes. Don’t be so stupid as to just point the finger and use him as a scape goat to ignore the bigger problems. Get real.

the biggest problem is we have a worthless coach

Could you just be a little bit more positive? The Vikings have 9 games left, their final chapter has yet to be written. ———————————–Sure I know it’s fun to be negative, and easy. ———What we do here doesn’t effect how the Vikings play. —————————————————————————————————However negative attitudes bring people down. If you were a player on the Vikings, I would be concerned.———————————————————–I’m talking to all the NEGATIVE NELLIES out there, who can only repeat over and over again how we need to get rid of so and so!

It takes a team to win or lose. Chilly has been put on a pedestal by many
Viking fans and it appears that he’s falling down a bit. Just hope that Brett is OK. He’s one terrific quarterback but those hits are beginning to take their toll. Go Pack!

  29. By mossforlife on Oct 31, 2010 | Reply

This Brett Favre drama which includes Chilly and Ziggy, destroyed this team. So pick who you want to blame. All the weapons at your disposal and we lose again. Same broken record. Chilly: “He looked good” Brett: “I want to play” Fans “We lost again”

What a waste of money and talent. Randy Moss does NOTHING on the field. He should be on the bench !!!!! The Vikes have many players that would at least make an effort.
