Another Minnesota Fan-Favorite Returns Today

Posted by Mike Wobschall on October 17, 2010 – 11:19 am

We all know that WR Randy Moss is making his anticipated return to Mall of America Field today. Moss played in this building from 1998 to 2004 and thrilled fans with highlight-reel plays regularly.

But there’s another star player for a Minnesota sports team who will make his return to the stadium, today. Twins do-everything man Michael Cuddyer will be on-hand for today’s Vikings-Cowboys game to sound the Gjallarhorn.

Cuddyer called the Metrodome his home stadium from 2001 to 2009. The Twins of course now play their home games at the brand-new Target Field, just across downtown from Mall of America Field. Though it won’t be as intense as Moss’, the ovation for Cuddyer will be a big one.

Bring in Brock Lesner or John Randle…….either could light a fire under some of our players……..

Who cares ! The Vikings are 1-3 and are in a must win situation. Unless this guy can play in the secondary or catch a TD pass, we need to focus on the Cowgirls. You guys just dont get it, we are desperate, to say the least. Seems to me a lot of you guys take losses very calmly. Do you realize we only play 16 games?

Just looking at the stats….did you know that this “D” and its front four only have 6 total sacks this year….Jared only has one F^%&^% sack!

Its time to bring it !!!!!!!!!

The only way to protect this secondary is to put the QB on his A$%! He can’t throw from the ground! This D has not stopped the run like in years past and we have not gotten after the QB either!

    Vikings 44, Cowboys 17

Old School – back off the D, their stats haven’t been the greatest but they are doing good in the most important categor: Points Allowed, with their worst outing being the 22 points allowed to the Jets (Favre gave them 7 on the pick-6). And that’s after all the horrible field positions they’ve been left in with a rest of only 3 plays in between drives so many times.

Let’s get the offense going this week. They’re what’s been killing us. We won’t be able to win if we can’t score. Remember that defense wins games, but the best defense is a good offense. We have yet to see that good offense for a full 60 minutes, I hope we get something different today.

One play at a time,10 yards at a time, & move the chains. We cant leave our D on the field the whole game. Jared has to get to Romo, fast and often. Favre has to hang on to the ball, no fumbles or INTs. This is do or die for us.

Favre looks different today…younger and rejuvenated. Better hope the drug testing crew doesn’t take a look him.

This team just doesn’t have it this year!

    I’m calling it now……………..its over!

Its time to start looking at A.P. and big games……..is he a choker?!

Pull Favre now……put T-Jack in there! At least he can move!

    f$%^!

We have no fire or desire. Looks like the team rather be doing something else . Offense moving backwards. We are so lost.
