The Lions were able to tack on 3 more points by way of a 33-yard FG from K Jason Hanson as time expired in the 2nd quarter. Detroit got the ball back with 54 seconds remaining in the 1st half on a tipped pass from Vikings QB Brett Favre that floated into the hands of Lions CB Alphonso Smith. Smith returned the INT to the Detroit 49-yard line.

Lions QB Shaun Hill and Co. drove the ball down to the Minnesota 15-yardline setting up the Hanson FG.

Through the 1st half, Vikings RB Adrian Peterson leads all rushers with 53 yards on 13 attempts and 1 TD. Favre has completed 12 of 16 passes for 106 yards, 1 TD and an INT. The Purple defense has been stout allowing just 7 first downs and 152 net yards.

How many cheap flags are you going to get. Phantom holding call on a lions run to the ten, cheap call on a tap on favre’s head a cheap hold on another Favre pick. now you should have had a fumble. Your lucky you are playing the Lions. By the way, that Hank basket looks good.
