Vikinigs Cut Into Saints Lead; Trail 7-3 In 2nd Quarter

Posted by Mike Wobschall on September 9, 2010 – 7:34 pm

Oh the benefits of a veteran QB and the best RB in the NFL.

Brett Favre orchestrated a 16-play, 66-yard drive that took 9:25 off the clock and ended with a Ryan Longwell 41-yard FG to cut New Orleans’ lead to 7-3 with 5:28 to play in the 1st half.

Adrian Peterson was a monster on the drive, continually churning out 1st downs. He had 12 carries for 56 yards in the series.

Vikings have 15:17 time of possession to New Orleans’ 9:15.

I agree, Camarillo needs to be in the slot on those obvious pass plays – he has the reputation for catching the ball, Lewis and Berrian DON’T!
