After sleeping on it, there must be a good reason not to keep Sage..or is it..that we MUST live and die with TJ?..he will be done after the vikings ..not a team will use him!

With the recent cut of tj houshmanzadeh do you see the Vikings going after him? And with Vincent Jackson still angry do you see a future trade being possible?

this is it! all or nothing…… a few things to patch up for the vikes? first is the o-line holes and a need for a go too WR? rumors of tj maybe? but who knows but the front office wilf and chilly? and a fix at Gaurd or Center should do the trick for theline going in to this first season opener down in the Big Easy! let get some payback…the defence should hold up fine major concern is kick return defense and secondary! this should be a great test for the vikes! can’t wait and see this thursday!

how much longer do we have to put up with this failed t jack experiment?

Is there some reason the Vikings only kept 4 WRs on their roster? Are they still planning to deal a trade, or are they convinced that they have enough depth? Don’t you think the Vikings need more depth? I think we need somebody more talented to survive the first part of the season without Sidney Rice. The one person I think they should consider is Victor Cruz from the Giants. He’s got the talent to become a no. 1 in the NFL, and he would come at the price of a no. 4 or no. 5. He would pay off nicely in the future.

Lets go get Housh right now!!!!

Do you expect the vikes to sneak logan payne or marcus sherels on the practice squad?

  8. By ConfusedByRules on Sep 5, 2010 | Reply

If the Vikes want to get Housh, how does that impact the current 53 man roster? Does someone have to be releases or can someone be assigned to the practice squad if Housh is picked up?

What are the top 3 Items that we need to focus on to take away a Viking Victory on thursday night ?

housh is a no. 2 pure and simple not worth what he wants. hope payne and sherels will make it to pratice squad along with Dimperio and trippllett. Give them a chance to learn the system and they should be solid if not great.

What did we get out of the trade for Sage and Reynaud?

  13. By E -Man on Sep 5, 2010 | Reply

Not a question but a no brainer!!! WE NEED TJ!!! PERIOD!!! If they need to make cuts then so be it!! Brett needs as many targets as possible!! We can’t count on Sidney coming back health and Percy is day to day.

It’s my 21st B-day today, what I would like to see for my b-day would be a trade for Randy Moss in his last yr of his contract. Since it’s his last year we could probably give up a draft pick or two since the patriots like them so much. Just Imagine that having two players both one of the best in their positions playing on the same side of the ball. Which could surely give us a Superbowl team and possibly approval for a new stadium to help bring in profits to help fund the vikings for many future winning seasons. Imagine having Berrian, Harvin, Rice, and Moss lined up and not to mention Peterson and Shiancoe on the same offense. Honestly who do you double team if you’re the defense? Anyway if this doesn’t happen I’ll consider my b-day a failure but yea get it done.

Was wondering who the Vikings might be adding to there roster soon? I was thinking Justin Hartwig from the Steelers would be really good for the Vikings O-line…Do you see that as a posibility? Thanks!

We need some taller CB. Most of our CB are in the 5’8 to 5’11 range. A WR like Vincent Jackson or Larry Fitzgerald will beat them every time. What are you planning to do about the height advantage between our CB and WR in the future? (Hopefully near future because we face a lot of pass first teams this season)

I’m puzzled. Maybe Rosenfels has a better chance being starting QB with another team, but why keep the one QB who failed to capitalize during pre-season. Everytime we looked up, Tavaris was falling apart on the field. Both Rosenfels and Webb were chalking up points. Why keep TJ?

    Chilli can’t admitt his failure

“Everytime we looked up, Tavaris was falling apart on the field. Both Rosenfels and Webb were chalking up points. Why keep TJ?” For that matter, why keep Favre? Not only was he getting sacked left and right, he was Fumbling and throwing Interceptions, the only QB on the team to do either ALL PRESEASON!

    Moron #264, please step forward.

i know farve is good but why should they keep him. i mean hes to old to even play the game. he cost them a chance at the super bowl. he practiclly handed the saints the ball.

Wow, and I actually thought that people would attempt to show intelligence after I called out the last person. Spelling, punctuation and knowing when to press down on one of those big buttons labeled “Shift” says it all “SMATYYTHEBULL”.

Calling Moron #265, please present your ticket at the window.

    Common Smatty,

Do you really think the Vikes would of got that far
last year without Brett? The refs and receivers
handed the game away not Brett!!!

No other qb could of continued to keep them close
    after all those mistakes!!!

with such a thin wide out position dont you think its manditory for us to pick up a good wide out?

also do you agree with the cuts we made, expecially giving up J. walker and C. Mills who both were stand out players in the pre’season?

  24. By Dennis on Sep 6, 2010 | Reply

Were is Ian Johnson? He should be put on the practice squad. give him one more year. he will be ready. special teams.

The Giants released WR & Spl Teams Man Derek Hagan. If coach Brad C. is serious about 1st good people then Good players! This guy is both. He sure would fit in with our spl teams. I don’t think anybody ran it all the way for a touch down in NY. I know this because I know the family. Great people!!!!!!

QB Nate Davis was just released by the 49ers. The Vikings would be wise to sign this kid.
