Vikings Back To Work For Day 6

Posted by Mike Wobschall on August 4, 2010 – 7:29 am

Wednesday is Day 6 of 2010 Verizon Vikings Training Camp and the Vikings will hit the fields for practice #9 this morning and then practice #10 this afternoon. The morning session will go from 9:00 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. and the afternoon session is scheduled for 2:10 p.m. and will end around 3:15 p.m.

Vikings offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell will meet with reporters after Wednesday morning’s practice and then the afternoon session will be a special teams practice. CJ will be here for the special teams practice and will have a report later today. I’ll be at both practices and will keep a global perspective on your favorite football team.

Feel free to chime in on the comments section below this entry to let us know what you’d like to see here on the vikings.com Blog and also remember to follow the Vikings on Twitter (@VikingsFootball) for real-time updates on the team.

Where’s Cedric Griffin with his injury? Has anyone guessed at when he’ll be back on the field?

    Hi Mike

i’m sure you’re aware of the situation at RB behind Adrian. Could you put out an in-depth report and analysis for us solely on the RB position focusing on the group. How guys are being used in reps, the play calls, their performance, what they’re excelling at and what their struggling with etc.,… Making it as unbiased as possible and then adding a personal opinion at the end of the days work. A ‘what you see is what you get’ meat and potatoes analysis.

Thanks very much for the camp reports thus far.

    TJ

    Hey Mike,
Thanks for all the updates. I’m curious how thing are going with the big guys in the trenches on both offense and defense. Is the offensive line holding up well against the awesome front 4 of the defense?

    Thanks

    Hey Mike,

Secondary, secondary, secondary!! If this team has a weakness we all know it’s the secondary. Please give insight as to the rotations, how the guys are doing, etc. Thank you for the past postings on Cook, sounds like he’s doing well.

I also am very curious as to our secondary. last year we got beat quite a few times with the back-ups. are they improving from last year? and how are they trying to improve? Thanx and keep up with all the great coverage from training camp so far….you are our eyes and ears….Thanx for the great work.

Hey Mike and CJ, with all the speculation that Favre may actually be hanging it up, can we get a run down on how QB Tarvaris Jackson is looking? I heard there was a Tjack chant taking place in Mankato!
    Thanks guys!
