Pat Williams: “It’s Time To Finish It”
Posted by on July 29, 2010 – 3:56 pmVeteran DTs Kevin Williams and Pat Williams – a.k.a. The Williams Wall – arrived at Julia Sears Residence Community together on Thursday and both seemed ready to get training camp rolling. Both players spent some time meeting with reporters and Kevin took a few moments to chat exclusively with vikings.com, so be sure to check back later for that interview.
Pat was asked about the team’s mentality as it reports to training camp with the sting of last year’s loss to eventual Super Bowl champion New Orleans still in the back of their minds.
“It’s time to finish it,” Williams, often times loose and joking, said in straight forward fashion. “We didn’t finish it last year, so this year we’re going to start here at training camp and we’re going to finish it this year.”
Kevin Williams said the new setup at Julia Sears looks nice so far and he also said he’s looking forward to being suite mates with LB E.J. Henderson because the two are close friends and broke into the League together.

This is our year..I’ve been a die-hard fan my whole life…28 YEARS..I was a fan when we were 15-1 and blew it and a fan when we were 6-10 a couple years ago…I was a MAD fan when were GAVE the aints that win…were woulda beat them 45-0 if we didnt give them the ball 6 times..if the aints were so good they wouldnt need bad calls in OT to win that game…if we woulda turned the ball over that many times against the lions they woulda beat us the aints are NOTHING I am looking so forward to sept. 9th……madden curse baby! #69 is gonna break drew brees neck

“Bitter” is an understatement. The Vikes gave the game away and so did the officials! Vikes are for real this time! Brett now knows the team and the team knows Brett! Superbowl Baby!

I love that quote: “It’s time to finish it.” That’s gotta be scary hearing something like that out of a guy THAT BIG. Watch out Brees, the Madden curse has been placed and Big Bad Pat is ready to finish it! HERE WE COME!

Hey Vikings fans get ready for the next biggest disappointment!!!!! Brett Favre is going say NO to returning to the Vikes! I bet you didn’t plan on that happening! Just another painful disappointment in a long list of team disappointments!

the vikings pathetic attempts to boost ticket sales are soooo sad. A person can not buy a ticket to the vikings vs cowboys game without buying a ticket to the detroit game as well.
thats sad, that you need to piggyback on quality teams to sell tickets to your busted down excuse for games. I woould rather go to 5 star and spent the air/ hotel money i saved on my family…. in texas.

Jim evidently your a Cowboys fan and I remember what we did to your broken down team in January!!!!

Lets just set it in our minds and hearts to get on the right path which is to get to and win the SuperBowl. Lets not worry about the Saints and revenge we are not on that path “Its time to finish ii” is perfect for us to carry into this season we are a great team with numerous playoff, NFC North crowns, and SuperBowl appearances thats a great team please believe that now finish it and win the crown that all we have to do now is win the crown it ain’t about being perfect on offense and defense the last SuperBowl winner had a terrible run defense so lets find a way to finish it that’s all finish it I don’t care who scores the TD just finish it solidify that we are a great team…Go Vikings!

Just viewed a segment on NBC News about how Viking Madieu Williams helps children in his native Sierra Leone. Can’t help but compare him to the Williams Wall duo who have been in the news for being on the party boat and for allegedly using banned substances. Conclusion: it takes more than football to make a real man.
