Will the vikes work out chester pitts after july 15? If so what are the chances of signing him? Are we really thinking of getting JaMarcus Russel? Seriously what are they thinking?

I understand that E.J. Hendersons rehabilitation is on schedule but being that he broke his femur and had to get a metal rod put into his leg, how do you feel about Jasper Brinkley stepping in this season for year 2 if E.J. is unable to retain his form?

Hi Mike. Just wondering your thoughts on whether Vikings should go after Patriots probowl OG Logan Mankins? I know Mankins wants to be traded and Favre needs better protection. Could be a good fit. What are your thoughts?

I believe if any qb spends time watching farve play and listen to his advice they will be better so with that i think t-jack will be better then normal he may be better the mcnabb because of farve. How well do you think he will do?

Forget it, TJ is a lost cause!

  7. By Rogerthevikefan on Jul 1, 2010 | Reply

This isn’t a question but farve has been throwing the pigskin around to the kids at oak grove high since the surgery on his ankle. GO FARVE!!

  8. By FAVRE4EVER on Jul 2, 2010 | Reply

Even Favre can’t work miracles of putting his guts and heart into his backups. Offer up TJACK and a late rounder for Mankins. Lets win now!!!!!!!!

T-jack needs to be replaced..I cant believe they ..the coaches cant see that.

  10. By watchin and waitin on Jul 2, 2010 | Reply

T-jack and party animal Mckinnie for mankins.

I think Quinn of the browns would be a better back-up QB

  12. By FAVRE4EVER on Jul 2, 2010 | Reply

Quinn is now a bronco, but get what your saying. Before we’re stuck with no trade value for the guy, t-jack n mckinnie, t-jack n another player, t-jack n a draft pick, whatever it takes i think Mankins would fill a critical role we are lacking on that line. Give Favre some protection , because he gets hurt and say goodbye to any chance of a superbowl. Am i the only one who seen Favre take a beating last year?MANKINS< MANKINS< MANKINS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greetings; When are the Vikes going to realize that
Brett Farve is all done and stop catering to his whims.Release him now and start working for the Future. Even If you sign him,the chances that he compleats the season without an injury are nil.Even
If he completes the season, the team will be set back a year in developing a QB for the future.Cut him loose

I thought Favre was retiring after 2009 season, is he playing in 2010 season?

Hi, Mike will favre lose his rhythm with the receivers since they haven’t worked with eachother for so long? how will they get back in tune with so much little time to work with the group? thanks

  16. By FAVRE4EVER on Jul 2, 2010 | Reply

Good one Hank. When you actually start watching football you’ll see Favre has not missed a start in 19 seasons. Go back to wisconsin traitor. Favre will be starting this year. He already started his off season workouts. Mankins wants out and pats need a backup to Brady. Not saying we might have to give alittle to boot, but since we did’nt do squat in free agency we could make the move. Win the superbowl and i see a new stadium. MANKINS MANKINS MANKINS!!!!! GO FAVRE!

you think the vikes will add depth at the FS or SS slot before the season start? and if so do you think going after Atari bigby would be a good pick up for the team…he is a free agents that was productive with 49 tackles 4 ints last year(plus he’s a 5 yr vet) which help also.

When will the draft picks be signed??? Will they all be there for training camp, or are there possible holdouts???? Thanks

I am a vikes fan the only one in my family and I live in Dallas. I hear people talking about trading t-jack are o-line sucks. We had one of the best scoring offense. Our defense is great but injury prone I believe if we can get some solid back ups and stay healthy we will be fine. Farve comes back, we have the best offensive season ever, peterson past 2,000 yeards, Ray edwards 16 sacks, vikes goes 14-2 Im watching vikes play in the superbowl in person. Vikes are the team to beat.what do you think of that

  23. By rino(vikes all the way on Jul 5, 2010 | Reply

On the Farve situation where everyone says he will be back preseason 2 or preseason game 3. He earn the right. dont get me wrong farve is one of the best, but the are great qauterbacks still playing that dont get that treatment. If he dont want to get wore out with all that training I say show up to traing camp support your whats going on get to know them more. work with the offense from the sidelines like giving add advice answer question or something just be there and show your there every step of the way. I know he wont but I hope he does do you agree

I dub the viking offense as “Machine” this year because we will have no wasted movements and will chew up yardage and score tds like a machine this year!

Mike, what are your thoughts on T-Jack? I am curious to how he performs in the future if he does play as a starter for the Vikings again. Hopefully his time under Brett will show improvement.

i think farve knows that this team is ready for the super bowl this year….most of are DEFENCE is ready besides one of are SAFETY’S becuse are front 4 are beasts ray edwards i think will earn his Big Contrct that he Deserves…the list goes on chad greenway he4 still been playing steller<visante SHANko….heez under paid….but we can all 4get about contracts and all this money and stadium talk if we get a ring in 2010….GO HARD OR GO HOME….

  28. By jordan on Jul 5, 2010 | Reply

Do you think cahd greenway will make the pro bowl this year? i know this conference has a lot of good outside linebackers like clay matthews and demarcus ware but greenway had a great year this year with 3 ints 99 tackles and 1 ff. and i think he will be even better this year

Love the Monday Morning QB – That being said, I’m one of many that believe Childress/Spielman do an EXCELLENT job evaluating talent… Maybe we won’t know until training camp starts, but how are some of the younger guys looking so far? (the future of the team) – OL, DL, and LB’s? I think we found a Diamond in the Rough type player in Joe Webb, and feel like he could be the franchise guy… and we have young RB’s in place…. But do you see Zygi holding on to (extending contracts) some of the veteran players that make an impact on this team (i.e. Greenway, Leber, McKinnie, Adrian, Rice) Thanks!

What is your opinion of the latest addition to our WR position from the lions?

  31. By celticvikingwarrior on Jul 6, 2010 | Reply

I wish the Vikes would get EXTREMELY SERIOUS about helping the TEAM improve their overall chance at the ever elusive S.B. championship, and the O.L. improve greatly AND maintain their health, not to mention the health of B.F., PLEASE sign Kevin Mahwae (sp?) at center for ONE YEAR. Sullivan could learn a ton from him and could spell him as needed, Favre would benefit and thus so would the team, in particular A.P. & Toby, but also the passing game. Throw in OG Chester Pitts and the OL, and thus the team becomes MUCH IMPROVED. I KNOW Kevin is getting WAY up there in years, but the expierience alone makes it a WIN for everyone. Not a question I know, but I couldn’t stand it anymore !!!!!!
