I’d like to hear from Chad Greenway his opinion on LB depth at this point in camp vs last year.

    Chad,
Your opinion please. I think that Brad Childress has lost his mind and should be out as Vikings coach. First of all, they have had too much talent not to win it all. Second of all, this AP thing—missing a “mandatory” camp to attend his own day—does not make any sense considering Brett Favre and the way Childress has handled that situation. I am surprised that he can let Favre skip mandatory camps and get on other people who have better reasons. I hope that Brad Childress shuts up about the whole AP thing until he is ready to take a stand on Favre. I think that letting Favre slide has cost the Vikings valuable chances to look for quarterback prospects and has hurt the franchise a lot more than AP.

Rick, you clearly don’t have a good understanding of the situation. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I thank you for sharing your opinion in this forum, but you don’t have a grasp of what’s happening.

how is peterson doing with his fumbling problem

Tough to tell right now because Adrian isn’t at minicamp. He’s a great player and I anticipate he’ll have the problem solved this year.

We all know that E.J. henderson was seriously injured in the 09/10 season. What is the status on his recovery and the MLB position?

  7. By Tom on Jun 12, 2010 | Reply

AP should have had the problem solved last season.

hey mike, i was wondering a little bit about our stadium update, i heard that the bill was failed or something along those lines, does this mean we will move to L.A. If we do not get a new stadium bill passed, could we extend the lease on the metrodome and then push for a new stadium? Could you please update us on the stadium and where you believe they will be playing in 2012? Thx

Do you think Jared Allen will grow his mullet back by the time the season starts? Its what everybody thinks of when they hear the name Jared Allen.

Hi, Mike do you think jemarca sanford will be the starter? another safety worth starting is husain abdullah do you think the vikings plan on starting these two? they seem to bring that athletic aggression to the secondary thanks

Now that the draft is done and over with, what is the front office doing now. do they start looking at future draft picks, possible trades with other teams, or more free agents that would have an impact on the team.

Also was there any picks that Rick Spielman was really happy for and were there some picks they are rethinking and questioning.

This looks like it’ll be the last year for Pat Williams, what are possible replacements for him next year, would it be someone on the current roster or is there a player the front office would like to pursue from another team or in next years draft?

Will we be a run or pass first offense? Childress clearly wants to be a run first O; but as we saw last season using the pass to set up the run was far more successful. In losses against Carolina, Arizona and Chicago we struggled to the run the ball however were very relunctant to change the gamplan.

If Favre retires, should the Vikings pursue other ex-Packer QBs Warner, Hasselbeck or Brunell?

    Hey Mike:

Any chance the Vikes could take a flyer on Albert Haynesworth? I know the cost would be steep, but we could trade half of West Bloomington, (Our large running back core). Pat Williams has been great but nearing the end. Haynesworth adds a little nasty, to that crew.
