Vikings Add Former Gophers WR Logan Payne

Posted by Mike Wobschall on May 21, 2010 – 9:35 am

The Vikings added former University of Minnesota Golden Gophers WR Logan Payne to their roster. To make room for Payne, the Vikings waived WR Kelton Tindal.

Payne, who measures in at 6-2, 205 pounds, played in 46 career games for the Gophers, catching 97 passes for 1,344 yards and 11 TDs. He went undrafted in 2007 but was signed by the Seattle Seahawks that year. He’s also spent time with the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs.

OTA #4 is set to begin in a few minutes and I’ll be back this afternoon with offense exclusive observations from today’s action.
