The Vikings announced today that they have agreed to terms on a new 2-year TV partnership with Twin Cities NBC affiliate KARE 11.
This means that KARE 11 essentially becomes the TV “Home of Vikings Football” and will air all available Vikings preseason games (in high definition). Also, KaRE 11 will air 2 Vikings-produced 30-minute shows – “Vikings Weekly” and “Vikings GamePlan.
“We are excited to partner with KARE 11 and expand our television programming to meet the demand of our fans wanting more Vikings content,” said Steve LaCroix, Vikings VP of Sales and Marketing/Chief Marketing Officer.“Partnering with KARE and their unmatched focus on community involvement in the Twin Cities will also create some exciting new opportunities for us.”
