I would advise the Vikings to move Albert Young to the #2 RB. That way they save money on signing old RB’s and they have more space on their roster for areas that need immediate attention like the secondary, special teams and MLB.

One more thing. I think Vikings don’t need anymore RBs because people are forgetting that Percy was a RB And Sidney Rice can actually throw the ball so it’s possible we may see some Wild Cat options next season. (Highly doubt it though that is just not the way Childress plays)

Here’s an idea, sign Tony richardson back remember he helped AP two years ago and also helped JETS last year great blocker. Hopefully Edwards gets picked up then use one of the 1st round picks for Randy Moss. Not sure if possible but see if we can sign Jason Taylor for Edwards place. Key is to have Favre back.

The Minnesota Vikings need to know soon from Favre if he’ll be back to lead the vikes next season. Without a top rated QB the vikes don’t stand a chance to reach the superbowl next season. Neither Jackson nor Rosenfel have the talent or mentality to get the best out of their teammates and don’t have any experience on what it takes to lead a team into post season competition. The talent and experience that Favre has set upon the vikings players and fans can only be replaced by a veteran QB. Coach Childress and the front office have put together a top rated football team that can only win it all with a QB that the players trust and have confidence in to lead them to victory. Donovan McNabb is that type of QB. Making a trade for him would boost the spirits of the players, coaches and fans of the vikings. Donovan has much post season experience and knows what it takes to get there. A championship has eluded him throughout his professional career. Playing with the talented vikings team would give him the added desire to accomplish his goal of winning it all with his new team. The quality of playing talent that the vikings team has won’t last long. So it’s easy to see that without someone like McNabb or Favre as their QB the vikes won’t come close to repeating the type of season they had in 2009. Also acquiring Brian Westbrook (free agent) as the 3rd down back would make up for the loss of Taylor and improve the vikings offense tremendously. I believe he is the prolific back for that situation. The viking fans have been waiting a long time to hail the vikes as a superbowl champion in the NFL.

roderick hood is on the market vikings? you can use your drafts in more needed parts for the team this year and make a real push again…window is closing fast for another shot at a ring!!!! get S- taylor mays in draft and secondary problem fix. then the team can work on the offensive line and make some good picks in that area of need? just maybe the silver fox return for his last run! :)
