Final Day Of Combine Underway

Posted by Mike Wobschall on March 2, 2010 – 9:30 am

The 2010 NFL Scouting Combine is nearing its conclusion, and that means vikings.com’s coverage of the annual event is also coming to a close. But we still have one more day.

Today in Indianapolis the only players remaining are the DBs and they’ll go through the on-field workout portion of the Combine. NFL Network has live coverage of the event right now, so I’ll be monitoring the TV and providing updates when necessary.

One early development is that Alabama standout CB Javier Arenas has tweaked his hamstring while running his first 40-yard dash, according to this blog entry from NFL.com’s Jason Feller.

We’ll have more updates throughout the day, so stay tuned to vikings.com for more…

I think it’s great if we drafted Taylor Mays. Start him at fs, has a great 40-time and scouts write he is aggressive which is what this team needs. He’s 6’2 and a hard hitter. Anyone remember the game at Chicago and madieu’s tackling? anyone remember the ravens game and the tackling? Arizona? Taylor Mays welcome to Minnesota my man!

Hey Mike, Where are most of the coaches at when these guys are working out? Are they in the stands or the boxes? I would imagine they all want to keep their comments and grades between themselves and player personnel.

They rotate between both the stadium seats and the suites.
