Day 4 At Combine Begins

It’s already Day 4 here at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis and it’s also the last full day I’ll be here taking in all of the action. But don’t worry, vikings.com will continue its coverage of the Combine through the event’s conclusion on Tuesday.

Day 4 marks the arrivals of the final groups of players – Groups 10 and 11 – which consist of DBs. These players will travel to Indianapolis today, go through registration, have hospital pre-exams and x-rays, orientation and then team interviews. Here’s what the other groups of players will be doing…

Groups 1-3 (kickers, specialists and TEs): on-field workouts and then departure
Groups 4-6 (QBs, WRs and RBs): NFLPA meeting, psychological testing, team interviews
Groups 7-9 (DL and LBs): measurements, medical exams, media sessions, psychological testing, team interviews

As you can see, we’ll have our first set of on-field workouts today as Groups 1-3 get out on the Lucas Oil Stadium field. That is exciting. I’ll also be sure to keep my eye on the media room as players and NFL head coaches and GMs make their way through to speak with reporters.

That’s it for now, but be sure to keep checking back here all weekend for updates…
