Thursday Injury Report Released

Posted by Mike Wobschall on December 31, 2009 – 2:57 pm

Some good news on the injury front for the Vikings: TE Visanthe Shiancoe (thigh) was able to participate in practice on a limited basis after sitting out of Wednesday’s workout.

DT Jimmy Kennedy (thumb) was not able to practice with the team and also sat out Wednesday’s practice.

There were no other changes to the  injury report from Wednesday to today. To view today’s full report, click here.

There were a few changes to the Giants injury report. After missing yesterday’s practice, WR Mario Manningham (shouler) was limited on Thursday. DT Chris Canty (knee) went from being limited on Wednesday to missing Thursday’s workout.

QB Eli Manning (foot) was limited on Wednesday but was a full participant today. DE Justin Tuck (knee) was not on the Wednesday injury report but appeared on Thursday’s and did not practice.

The Giants placed both RB Brandon Jacobs (knee) and CB Aaron Ross (hamstring) on injured reserve. RB Ahmad Bradshaw, who would be the first choice to replace Jacobs in the lineup, missed a 2nd straight day of practice with ankle and knee injuries.

There were no other changes to the Giants injury report.

giants run game should be gone so its time to see if we can get to Eli. If we can’t it won’t look good for the playoffs.

I have been a VIKINGS fan for many many years. I am dissapointed at the way they are playing at the end of the season especially going into the playoffs. The same old thing the safeties and corners need to make tackles and not MISS. HIT HARD COME ON NOW. The offensive line you need to pull it together . You are much better than what you have been showing lately. AP PLEASE HOLD HOLD HOLD onto the ball, PROTECT IT AT ALL TIMES PLEASE. Have fun and play with intensity all 4 quarters, never ever give up any time. This is a good team this year. PROVE IT TO THE CRITICS AND YOURSELVES. SKOL VIKINGS LETS GO VIKINGS WIN WIN WIN!

Vikes you are the ones! Win it all the way to the SB for yourselves and the silver fox. Maybe then you will have him back as your QB coach. You had been doing all season with a great team effort! Use the pass to open the run, let Brett do his reads. Jared Allen i want to see that calf roping!! You are all great players. You can do this–you were stellar against many of these teams. Work togther and WIN!! Win for the guy next to youi! All the way to the SB. See you in Miami.

Like, is he that much better than Hakeem Nicks, Michael Crabtree, or Dez Bryant? I just dont see why it seems like every guy is hyping him up. Hes not Larry Fitzgerald, Megatron, AJ Green, etc..

Now please dont give me rude responses, be nice :)
