how come Sage Rosenfels keeps getting stuck behind Tavaris Jackson. He has all the capability, and foremost he has leadership that TJ lacks. Why is he not 2nd string in case Brett Favre goes down?

Cause they want to get rid of Terrible Jackson, so they are hoping to get somthing for him by playing him after favre. They want to hold on to sage

you guys are both wrong, for one tavaris knows this system way better than sage does not to mention did better in preseason not to mention led us to the playoffs last year wit awsome numbers..sage never led any team to a playoff game..sage is good but tavaris is all around better QB..for 3 I’m pretty sure Brad Childress has a little better look at who is the better 2nd string seein how he sees both of them play everyday..get ur game up Todd and Rap99

that is a good point alex but tavarris is not terrible compare his stats last year to sage’s tavaris did much better, if he did not get hurt in preseason last year he would have even had better season, give tavaris another year behind farve then you will see the emergence of a star

dog, TJ did not lead us to playoffs last season, gus did! awsome numbers? that must have been a typo, i’m sure u meant awful numbers! TJ has been near the bottom of all QB stats when he’s played. are you on acid? that might explain some things.

If you leave T Jackson as the Vikings QB the stars of the team(AD, Harvin, Rice, Shancoe) will all be wanting out of Minn !!

Do the guys on the practice squad get to suit up for the games?

I didn’t realize the Vikings O-Line and secondary were de-activated. I didn’t see anyone on either of those units playing tonight.

I am tired of this team. Again another let down after a huge build up. The Cardinals have exposed them for the very mediocre team that they are.

One and done in the playoffs and they may even be a Wildcard if they keep this up.

I think that minnesota is going to get a draft pick because favre might lead us to the superbowl and brad childress wants a quarterback that can do that every year

Mikedog is right. get your game up guys. where is everyone from wisconsin tonight? Let’s all hope E.J. Henderson will be able to play football again after that awful broken leg. ugh!

Start T-Jack against Cincy…I think Favre hurt his throwing arm again. Isn’t it about that time in the season?

  18. By gottogetridof7 on Dec 6, 2009 | Reply

TJ won one game in the three he played. Then he lost horribly to the Eagles. Trade him for a 5 th rounder because that is what he is worth.

I’m kidding about starting T-Jack, but no MVP for Favre!

Right now is when we need our loyal and die-hard fans to step up and be supportive of this team…don’t let negativity creep into the picture, our players will feel that…we took this one on the chin and like a great fighter we need to bounce back up from the canvas…it’s simple, have a short memory, dedicate the rest of the season to ur brother EJ, and play the rest of the season like each game is the last one of ur career, WANT it more than the other team…this could be a good thing for our boyz, there is no taking games off in this league, if u want to be considered a championship squad, u have to be prepared week in and week out and u have to be humble and not buy into urselves…dont read the newspapers, stay away from the media if u can, make it u agaisnt the world and that’s all u can do..if u lose then, it’s fine, but tonight we either weren’t prepared or we left our intensity in the state of MN, and always leave ur egos at the gate, names dont win u games, plays from players win u games…no one is going to hand us hardware b/c we have a guy named “Favre” on our team, we have to earn it and use this game as a lesson

One more thing, look at the Giants from 2 years ago and even the Cardinals from last year…the G-men were in the wild card lead heading into Dec. and lost 2 in a row, then were trailing Buffalo by 2 scores late, they came back and won, winning a playoff berth, then they used that momentum and almost beat NE on the last regular season game, and they gained confidence from that and it carried through the playoffs…EVERYONE said that the Cardinals were a joke last year and that they shouldn’t be in the playoffs b/c they weren’t even showing up for their games in December…They re-focused themselves and we all know what happened from there…we are still 10-2, we’ll all take that…how are we going to finish?…and…”won’t the real Adrian Peterson please stand up, please stand up, please stand up”

Okay for the Record Gus Ferrotte got us to the Playoffs not T jack! Gus went 8-3 any true Vikings fan knows that!!!

Yesterday was Disheartening, but a wakeup call Minnesota’s Secondary has got to improve if they have any shot of winning not only the rest of the regular season games, but any playoff games as well! I hope E.J. is going to make a full recovery from that horrific injury! I am not going to cry, but Arizona got away with a lot of B.S. yesterday that wasn’t called but anyway we got flatout out played, coached, beat. We have to regroup & that secondary has to get better plus the offensive line blocking has to get better it looked terrible yesterday! BTW when is Antoine coming back? I keep hearing every week that he is going to play then he has setbacks! I hope he’s back against Cincy & no one else gets hurt in the meantime!!!! Go Vikes

87 OUT 11 IN SO AP CAN DANCE,THEN WE CAN TALK SUPERBOWL!!!! WE NEED A BEAST IN THAT NUMBER SLOT AT WR,SOMEONE WHO IS GO DEMAND THAT RESPECT,LETS GOOOOOO VIKES GET RIGHT

  26. By $#%@@% on Dec 7, 2009 | Reply

We better be going for some good players in the secondary in the Draft because all I’m seeing from them is missed tackles, missed opportunities, and catches being made left and right. Their not playing very tight coverage and its making games closer than they have to be or its giving us loses.

  27. By $#%@@% on Dec 7, 2009 | Reply

And about TJack, I think he’s got talent, he’s just inconsistent at times when you really don’t want him to be.

  28. By gottogetridof7 on Dec 7, 2009 | Reply

The Vikings have not run enough. They got stopped a couple times but they need to keep pounding the run so that they can start to open up the pass. The past two weeks they have just given up on the run.
