Titans Help In Vikings Fight

The Vikings will travel to Arizona this upcoming Sunday for a battle with the defending NFC champions as they try to put some more space between themselves and the Cardinals in a fight among NFC division leaders for playoff position.

But the Vikings got some breathing room before even suiting up against Arizona thanks to the Tennessee Titans, who after a 99-yard game-winning drive by QB Vince Young defeated the Cardinals on Sunday and dropped them to 7-4. As a result, a Vikings loss next week in the desert still won’t be enough to drop them below the Cardinals while a win will guarantee the Vikings a better seed than their NFC West foe.

As it stands right now, with the Saints yet to play their Week 12 game (against New England tonight), the Vikings are in 2nd position in the NFC. New Orleans (10-0) has the conference’s best record, just ahead of the Vikings, and Dallas is in 3rd position with an 8-3 record.

If the Vikings continue to ascend in their playing, stay focused week to week, and limit penalties to a minimum, the entire Vikings team and coaches will take them to the #1 seed and on to the Super Bowl. Hang on and enjoy the ride!

I have no worry about the cardnials because they aren’t the team they were last yr that doesn’t mean we take them lightly it means stay focused and keep spreading the ball around and pounding with ap and taylor. If we can get home field through the playoffs we will be the team to beat in the nfc.

I am worried about AP’s fumbling issues. He stopped two potential scoring drives on Sunday with his fumbles. I would like to see more of Chester Taylor and ball security going into the playoffs; what are your thoughts?’

it doesn’t matter what other teams do as long as we take care of our games we will be either #2 or #1 seed…

Patrick — Chester Taylor would be a great change up. I think he also has better hands then A.P. for that short pass from #4. We need to use both running backs more.
