Shiancoe One TD Closer To Vikings Single-Season Record

Posted by Mike Wobschall on November 22, 2009 – 1:13 pm

The Vikings scored their 2nd TD of the game and it was on a quick slant from Brett Favre to TE Visanthe Shiancoe.

The TD by Shiancoe gives him 7 for the season and puts him 1 away from tying Joe Senser’s record for TD receptions by a TE in a season.

The Vikings are on the goal line now, so maybe the record-tyer is coming.

So far, WOW!…I know it’s only Seattle, but, still, our execution has been nearly flawless, some penalties early but what a second quarter…#4 is playing the best he may have ever played in his career, and that’s saying something…let’s see what kind of second half we have, how many games have we had big leads and our defense rests in the second half and teams make comebacks on us, I hope they don’t ease up, on both sides of the ball.

I think that it should be said that Chilly has an eye for talent. This guy was the Giants backup TE when we got him. He had a rough first season with us, but, since then, he has flourished. Good job silencing your critics, Shiancoe!!
