i have been wondering why have the vikings defense been allowing so much comebacks late and almost losing their games but their offense is so high powered which is awesome because i love the vikings and i’m not disappointed in them at all
they have done nothing but good things

The bye comes at the perfect time to heal some ailing stars. I hope Winfield will be strong by the Bears game. The Vikes could really use a blowout game to instill confidence in the secondary.
But at the same time, the Vikes have had large leads and the opponent has had to get away from the run. Double-edged sword.

Hey, Somebody: Can anyone tell me why AP is getting the squeeze from the RB coach? AP was fine the past two years and up through the pre-season with the Texans where he cut through like butter to score on the 1st play of the game!
BUT, suddenly, the RB coach decides AP needs to “learn” to be more patient!!! Can you believe it? PATIENT for WHAT?!! “Patient” to allow the defenses to track him and stuff him almost every time?
AP translates ‘patient’ to ‘hesitate’. Even worse, now, instead of blasting through like the mercurial shadow by instinct, speed, quickness, power & smarts, AP HAS STARTED TO ‘THINK’!! Get real! Don’t try to fix what ain’t broke! Suddenly we have no ‘balanced’ run-pass attack! Can the RB coach and let AP do his thing. Just give him the ball!!!

I really hope Antoine Winfield comes back soon. The Vikings need him badly, both for talent and leadership reasons. I feel Adrian Petersen is about to have a huge breakout game because of the fact that the passing game is having so much success this season.
Schedule looks favorable with 3 straight home games! 10-1 anybody?

“AP is getting the squeeze from the RB coach? ”
He is trying to instill the proper techniques to AP, so that it WILL become instinctive to do the right thing, When you are the star pupil, the teacher is harder on you to be th best you can be. It will show up at the end of the season when the Vikes need him the most. AP is great, the coach is trying to make sure he can be better. AP has a lot of unharnessed ability. If shaped correctly, could make him the greatest back ever. The video only showed the tough side of the relationship. This coach has known AP since H.S. I’m sure AP would not change a thing. That aside, on camera AP seems like a very quiet modest person. That is great to see in this era of self-centered chest pumping ego-centric players.

That would be great to put pressure on the Saints and reveal any weaknesses on their team.
The Bright-side of a potential 2-seed is, that even if the Packers put on a miraculous run to make the playoffs, it would probably only be a 6-seed and as such, could only meet again in the NFC Championship game in the dome.
I think the 2-seed position is the least vulnerable from a late push by wild-card teams. (see the last couple of years)

Has anyone noticed that the screen pass to Peterson gets Peterson more yards than handing the ball off. More than half the times Peterson gets stuffed on the runs, but when you hit him a few yard past the line of scrimmage, he is GONE! I hope Brad takes notice of this and runs those plays more often. It gets Peterson the ball with a better chance of getting more yards and it causes the safties to come up thereby opening the long pass up.

I’d like to see the secondary PRACTICE, PRACTICE, and PRACTICE A LOT. No Injury excuses during the playoffs. The backups should be ready to takeover. We need Karl Paymay to be tested over, and over, and over again. Prepare for Brees, Manning, or any of the other passing quarterbacks during the playoffs. I would like the Vikings to dominate and have a killer instinct during the playoffs especially the Super Bowl. Don’t play catch-up or last few seconds heroics. We want to see the Vikings to have the heart of a champion. Thus far your grade is an ‘A.” Keep it up. You guys are fun to watch. The best in decades.

The bye week comes at a perfect time…guys are beat up and we need the rest…hopefully ‘Toine can come back soon, but there is no need to hurry b/c we have DET and SEA after the bye, better to not rush him and have him at full dtrength than to rush him and not have him at full strength…the defensive lapses in the second halves of games is concerning…I think what happens is our boyz get tired and therefore the pa-ss rush drops off and that puts the burden on our secondary, which is our weak point of our team…I agree with everyone that this could be the best team the Vikings have had since, not the ’98 team, but since the ’76 team…it’s time to change the lore of Vikings history this year, this isn’t the same Vikings team of the past, we gotta believe!

A Funny thing happened on the way to the Bye.
The top QB’s all had low PR’s today.
A.Rodgers was 110.4 | Today (57.6-2TD-3INT)
P.Manning was 109.3 | Today (83.6-1TD-1INT)
D.Brees was 107.6 | Today (96.1-1TD-1INT)
So Favre with his 106.0 Passer Rating could be the one left standing on top after the conclusion of the weekend.
The Vikes already gained a game on everyone on the Division, just by being idle.

I think this could be the year the Vikes finally get a Superbowl ring. Every thing is cliquing and I think with our remaining games we can possably go 15-1 but the only thing standing in our way is a meltdown as in years past we have faltered down the streach. Well lets hope and pray that this is the year all Vikings fans have hoped and prayed for. GO VIKES

She is a real hero took several shot to her body and still took him down. Hope this makes it’s way to the right people. Sorry for the Hi post was having trouble posting the first blog

P. Harvin is a winner. High school and college. Go to him, and you will go to the superbowl. Some things are to be. He is not a wide reciever. Give him the ball with a chance to run, and pack your bags for the super bowl.
