Will Berrian Play?

Vikings WR Bernard Berrian was listed as questionable on the Friday injury report because of a hamstring injury. The “questionable” designation means there’s a 50-50 chance that he’ll be able to go.

Against Green Bay in Week 4, the speedy Berrian scored on a 31-yard pass from Favre, a score that put the Vikings ahead 28-14 and ultimately provided the winning margin in a 30-23 victory. Berrian led all Vikings receivers on the day with 6 grabs for 75 yards.

Berrian’s importance to the Vikings offense is that he has exceptional speed, with the ability to beat coverage by simply out-running it. This opens up situations underneath for players such as WR Percy Harvin and TE Visanthe Shiancoe.

Speaking of Harvin, he was also listed as questionable on the injury report but was able to practice on Friday after missing Thursday’s practice. I would be surprised if he didn’t go today.
