Should Be A Pretty Good Day For FOX

Sunday is a football bonanza of sorts fans in Minnesota and Green Bay – a huge game with distinct NFC North implications and the return of a certain QB to a certain stadium he called home for 16 years.

But Sunday should also be a ratings bonanza for FOX. The network will have the NY Giants-Philadelphia Eagles game at noon CT, followed by the game of the week in the NFL – Vikings @ Packers – at 3:15 CT and then Game 4 of the World Series between the NY Yankees and Philadelphia Eagles.

When the Vikings and Packers played at Mall of America Field earlier this year in a Monday Night Football matchup, the result was a record number of TV viewers for a cable program. It’s probably safe to assume that FOX will set some kind of record today in light of their impressive lineup.

A sportsman’s dream today for I. You have to understand where I’m coming from, personally…I live just outside of Philly, I love my Phillies, but dislike any team from New York in any sport. All week all we’ve heard around here is New York vs. Philly. Now, I don’t like the Eagles or the Giants obviously, but all of my folks and relatives either like the Eagles, Giants, Phillies, or the Yankees…And to top it all off, I have the Vikings at Packers…By the way, I should note that even though the Phillies are in the world series, my loyalty is and will always be with the Purple and Gold…They are my #1 team, and not even defending the world series can trump my Vikes…It should be an exciting day, win or lose…..Go Vikings and Go Phillies!!!!

I think that the Packer nation acted like a bunch of classless jackals on Sunday. Brett Favre to me is a class act and the greatest quarterback ever! I will love Brett Favre 4ever, no matter where he plays.
