What can the Vikings do to stop long pass plays?

Why hasn’t Greg Lewis been used more often? After the 49s game I haven’t seen him.

During the Baltimore game, the Vikings continued to try and run the ball while in the red zone, and failed everytime, settling for a field goal. Why didn’t they let Favre throw for a guaranteed touchdown. They ran on first and second down, giving Favre only one shot! I feel that the game calling in the red zone almost cost the Vikings the game. The Vikings want to be a running team, however, in the red zone, they fail to get 6 points!

Like every other Vikings fan, I love Adrian Peterson. I’m currious as to how AP’s number stack up to another Viking Running Back great, Robert Smith.
