Peterson Visits With Jim Brown

Posted by Mike Wobschall on August 11, 2009 – 4:41 pm

Jim Brown was the best RB in his era. Adrian Peterson is the best RB in the league right now. And the 2 of them got together for a chat, with Sporting News there to capture it all.

“It was a great experience,” Peterson said. “It was Jim Brown, so that speaks for itself. Just to go over and have a one-on-one conversation with him, running back to running back, and him being the best back to play the game, I was able to learn a lot. Just to sit there and absorb his different views about the game and life in general, it was good conversation.”

You can read the interview (it’s in 3 parts) by clicking here. Just remember to come back when you’re done.

AP is such a standup guy. Very humble and respectful, even though he gets told all the time that he’s the best in the game. That’s so rare. And he keeps on trying to improve himself. We need to make sure that the rookies get to know him well, because he is the type of guy that they should try to emulate.
